I can't help but wonder: Will they ever give Number Five a human love interest in the show? I've thought about it and it seems like any way you cut it, it's creepy. He's a 58 year old man in a young teenager's body. He has to find someone who's exactly like him for it not to be creepy which is a tall order.
How many man +50 yeals old have a 20-year-old partner eithr because they are rich or/and still attractive in their fifties lets not go for the ''gold diggers' just look the age of many actors wives hlalf of them are like 20 years younger and no one is disguted by it because the respective elder partner looks amazing for his age. Btw how that old man looking 75 is supposed to be 58 Five? Let's be real him being 58 is not the problem iit's him being i a younger body because in this case he is supposed to grow, it's him looking like a kid with a mentality of an adult therfore not interested in girls the age he looks but while he looks like a young boy giving him an adult love interest will be creepy for the viewers and probably the actor. So yeah till he grows a bit it will be complicated unless they introduce a young lady with +200 IQ so for now I guess Dolores will do. And now I just realized that 58 years Five never even had a real girfriend, man..this is depressing.
5 is my favorite character in the Umbrella Academy. However, if you had the " I heard a rumour"power that you wouldn't use it to do some good things and possibly some bad things as well.

I think the show will have normal ageing, because, live action. Actors continue to visibly age, teens especially so I think they'll just have Five age as normal in the show. Basically he's found immortality.
Number fives ability is not dissolving his molecular structure while we’re forming it in a different place it’s not that is Star Trek. Number five is actually distorting space which you see in the visual effects.
It's a little plot hole that Five calls our for Ben and Vanya instead of using their numbers right after he ends up in the apocalypse. Either it was either a mistake or Five decided not to have a name on purpose.
I actually thought this actor was an older actor who was playing a child. I thought they used CGI or some other technology to give him the Benjamin Button treatment. I am blown away by how talented this actor is. The entire cast is incredible. The writing is amazing. This show has quickly become an addiction.
i was telling someone yesterday that this has to be the best written and acted character on tv by far. I cannot believe this actor has not become wildly in demand after this.
I thought the reason he got stuck in the future was that he hadn't yet figured out how to travel backwards in time. How did he manage to travel back to the 60's with all his brothers and sisters at the end of season 1? If he could travel backwards in time, why was he unable to escape the apocalyptic future?
Five doesn't figure out the proper mathematical equation to travel back until he's at JFK's assassination. He still gets it off which is why when he returns to 2019 he is in his child body. When he time travels them all back at the end of season one, he still hasn't mastered it leaving them all stuck in different periods of time in the 60s (but thankfully not all in their child bodies).
Well Vania is Russian name, a male name and it bothers me that they had yo use a male name because they couldn't consult typical female Russian names. Or maybe they did it for the actor I guess it fits.
I wonder what name Grace gave him. In the show we know the characters were already given names at his disappearance based on the flashbacks, he calls out Vanya and Ben's names when he winds up in the end of the world so I wonder what it is, I dunno maybe Robot Mommy gave him a stupid name.
I think each would be the opposite personality wise of the team. So instead of being a sociopath cube. It’s a compassionate dimensional cube. I could definitely see a supernatural comedy for just these two guys alone. Also, I always felt that 5 was more focused on in the show. Which makes sense, he’s supposed to be the insert of a person who already knows everything that will happen and is trying to change it.

I believe that 5 jumped them to an alternate universe/time-line because of all the sparrow references. Reginald would have still bought the umbrella company in 1920 what ever. So it would stand to reason that it would still be called the umbrella academy. Just my thoughts.
Because Aiden Gallagher, #5 was under 18, any scene with guns had to be shot with a body double. The series was shot in Canada, and that was their law.
I feel so bad for them, they worked so hard to come back to 2019 and just to find that mess !!!! Maybe because there are hardly any funny/comic scenes with her. Even the rumor has funny scenes. Like that strange tension and the jokes the other do about her and Luther, or when she makes Diego punch himself in the face. You don't have that with Vanya.
