Ohhh, and "en livstid i krig", a lifetime of war, the live one in gothenburg. Its in swedish, so have lyrics on to really get the meaning. You will loooove it!!

I recommend the song - last battle. It tells about one of the last battles of American troops during World War II. And also one of the most interesting.
I am not religious, but for the time that it rakes to listen to this I am 100% behind the Swiss guard defending the escape. Sabaton have a way to get you invested in the story they sing, like now about the heroic last stand of Swiss guards severely outnumbered trying to buy time for the pope, or wigh 40:1, Screaming Eagles, Uprising, Hearts of iron, Resist and bite, Sparta... they can maje you patriotic for a enemy or a country that no longer exists.
This is one of my favourite Sabaton songs, from a purely musical enjoyment perspective. :)
Oh yes! It's one of my favorites of theirs so far as well! I'm so happy that I have a long list of their performances to be mesmerized by!! Merry Christmas! Love & LIght!

Angie you're gonna discover some amazing songs! To me, Sabaton's most powerful performance is of live in Gothenburg En Livstid I Krig (A Lifetime of.War) in Swedish w English subtitles. It's the most epic crowd participation experience... so moving, I learned it in Swedish!

Hello newest member of the "Holy heck what did I just watch" Sabaton reactors, lol. Sabaton is a rock band that does TRUE stories of military history via rock music. They don't "pick sides" but instead tell stories of valor, mercy, and sacrifice through music.
If I might suggest/request? Can you watch "No Bullets Fly" (the 8:50 one - animated story version w/Yarnhub) - it's the true story of a German fighter pilot in WWII, who finds a *very* damaged B-17 Bomber (American) and instead of finishing them off (as was his duty) he saw how damaged the plane was, and how wounded the crew were, and instead ESCORTED them out of Germany. The longer video, the one I recommended then shows how the men met over 40 years later and became close friends. Bring tissues.
Also - "Night Witches" (again the animated story version) - or "Christmas Truce" - please consider watching *any* of these - you'll get hooked.

Back in the 80s, a Band from Australia had a big Hit! but outside Australia its a hidden gem! John Schuhmann or Redgum "I was only 19"....its 4 decades old, but still relevant! Please! John is running a PTSD Program for Vets, so please have a look!
