Always enjoying ops videos on Split Rock. Mosttakenwith the hands-free operation. Thanks.

Very enjoyable to watch! Great looking operations with those multiple units and strings of ore cars! It looks like parts of your layout have some visual separation from each other like at 12:29 where the tracks curve around a wall. That must create a feeling of the train having traveled a distance.

Can you do a video in how your handheld controller works and its features

Hello Eric. What handheld controller would you like to see? The throttles?

Thank you Lynn. The magnets are Kadee non-delayed. I only use delayed on the ore dock tracks. I like the electric magnets, but want to learn how to make them hold a charge for longer than a second while I operate my controls.
Which turnout markers are you referring too? The ones by the switch points are small electrical components I painted black and added numbers too, so they match the throw rods in the fascia. It helps newer operators who visit.

Like the video, very nice production with tags throughout. From the video, I even like your choice of locomotives better. Long live ALCO!

MrCipher666 - I like track warrants, but with such a short mainline, I just let the Vermillion ( upper deck) yardmaster control mainline movements. When they have a loaded ore train ready to move, they then allow a empty train to depart Agate Bay yard. One up, one down.

Robert Trainor Not at the moment. I hope to complete some RSD-12’s and see if Alco Century C-628/630/636 will work on my curves.

Nice operations! I like your layout! Are your magnets operated electrically or how? I also like your turnout markers. Did you make or did you buy them? If you brought them, where or made them how? Take care, Lynn

The turnouts are controlled by FastTrack Bullfrog switch controllers

The trains look impressive in context with the size of your layout. What is the area that the layout occupies and how long in feet would the run be from the yard to the mine. I enjoyed watching the video.

Great video and incredible layout. Question: How is the layout operated (track warrants, radio, or some combination of thereof)?
