United Express | TRIP REPORT | San Francisco to Los Angeles UA 8979 Embraer 175

This was my last trip in 2019 prior to the pandemic. After this trip, it was nearly 3 years of no flying before resuming flying starting in Sept 2022. For this trip, it was just a short one hour flight from SFO to LAX on a cool crisp December morning. Typically United Express flights are operated by Skywest. Overall the flight was very uneventful. While I like these smaller regional 2x2 planes, the thing I dislike about the Embraers and also the Bombardiers is that the windows are so darn spaced apart that quite often your seat doesn't align with the window and makes it difficult to see out the window.
