Great video Niall and a smashing looking little device there from the very talented Piotr! Amazing quality and sounds very versatile too. Going to be looking at one of these very closely....! 🙂👍
Thank you for sharing this, I sent a message to Zaxon (creator) because the RGB2HDMI item was not available for new orders at the moment. As a proud CPC 464 owner with a green monitor (also owning the M4 board) I was very interested in this feature for use on any decent new monitor with HDMI input.👌
Just to let you know these are available on SellMyRetro by myself and I am working with the project owner/creator (IanB, who is still updating the firmware) who is not Zaxxon. Also if you are using the analog board, the cable used for the CPC will work with any BBC machine, no need for a seperate cable as has been stated multiple times in the comments. Finally these do not fuully support Plus versions as they do not have the bandwidth for the higher color modes(may work/may not as not officially supported), but will work quiet happily with older cpc titles omn the Pluus.
@@amstradnoob Firstly thank you for the reply. I would not like to comment on that tbh, I do not want to throw shade at anyone else's work, especially someone who has supported the Amstrad community so fully. What I can say is at the moment we are using Ian's supplies and he has to get back what he paid plus a little profit so at the moment Ian is getting £43 from each unit and I get £37 to pay for postage, assembly, cables, customer service, a raspbery pi and the casing. So in actuality our prices are quite keen. Having said that we are working on a cost reduced version (that the gerber files will not be released for) so watch this space. Of course while ordering from Poland following Brexit the prices quoted are also liable for 20% vat plus admin charge, so if you buy from the us and are in the UK then you are likely to pay less. Plus ordering from us will help Ian to continue to support and improve the product and firmware (which is what he loves), he's added 3 systems in the last few months, so the future is looking rosey. I would like to thank personally everyone who has bought from us, and say it's this continued support that will help us advance this project. Finally I will gladly send you a sample for review as soon as the new design is finalised and produced. Thanks once again for giving me the opportunity to comment. JInxter/ConsoleX-Mania/Retro-tinkering/meesse/RGBTOHDMI project.
After some time of using that wonderful device, did you recognized any kind of input lag in a game like "Bomb Jack"? If you move the stick or click the fire button at your joystick, is it fluent and like the real monitor? I have checked out different solutions with RGB to HDMI and just the most expensive framemeister was without any feelable input lag. So can you confirm this device is perfect too? Thanks a lot and greetings from Germany. Tom
Good video I bought one of these myself worth every penny and it also works with a BBC micro if you use a different cable.
well done i hope soon available

@@jinxter289I have bought one second hand but need files I think on the mini sd card, where do I get the files from?
Looks a good solution if my CTR fails
