    Is cleaning the inside required too? How do you recommend doing that?
    It happens that I often step into swampy areas, therefore my boots get soaked from the inside also.

      Hey there! The Lowa shoe cleaning spray can also be used to clean the inside of your boots. Give them a good spray and scrub (best you can) inside and a good rinse will freshen them up!

    What about suede hiking boots? I had used a was and all it did was make the leather a magnet for dust. Should I stick with a silicone type spray? Thanks

      Hey Ryan, best to check with the instructions from the manufacturer for your boots. If they are Lowa's, you can follow our video guide or their care instructions here www.lowaboots.com.au/pages/boot-care?srsltid=AfmBOorcx5JFdfRMUvO2UWdup_9-ufNcNSIvyWdipWHcIWkRSY_YqhgL

    I use an old toothbrush to get into the groves underneath the boot.

    Since I don’t use my boots so often, and they’re not so dirty (yet 4 months has passed) would you recommend using only the waterproof spray or shall I clean and use the conditioner as well?

      Hey there! Completely up to you! It can't hurt to give them a clean and condition, Lowa do recommend using care products every 3 months.

    Hello, do you wait for the boots to dry off after the rinsing to apply water resistance spray ? Or you put that on the wet boot?

    • @tomsoutdoorsgearguide
      @tomsoutdoorsgearguide  7 месяцев назад +1

      Hey! Mickey applies the water resistance spray when his boots are still damp.

    Would you recommend applying wax to brand new leather boots ... Before they are even used.

    • @tomsoutdoorsgearguide
      @tomsoutdoorsgearguide  7 месяцев назад +2

      Some people do! It's generally not necessary as most come waxed ready to go but it won't hurt them. All comes down to personal preference!

      If they gortex lined generally no. It can clog up the pores and can trap stuff between the liner and the wax.

      @@BarefootPhilanthropist Thanks, in the end I didn't bother with the wax

      Hey Lewis! It is recommended using Lowa care products only on your boots. You can read their care guidelines here: www.lowaboots.com.au/pages/boot-care?srsltid=AfmBOooZN1MOueBT5sNKg0Hl-iXkBjoUyo2-dvFG30RiIsvC6VLIaz0x
