Another compliment on your work, the Captain's cabin looks much "fresher" than it did before. Also, I think you do a great job with your music selections. The theme has such a 'narrowboaty' feel to it, with the oboe being reminiscent of an old engine sound, and the selections for the time lapse are well matched. Fair winds.
You are very much welcome. I need to amend my original comment. Upon further review, Kevin MacLeod used the clarinet, not the oboe, in 'Carpe Diem'. Sorry Kevin.
Hi Guys, May I ask, what would be a rough estimate to re-fit the interior of a narrowboat? I am looking at the possibility of doing this. Cheers ! great job there :)
Hi. Its difficult to say. A friend of our has just fitted out a lined shell from scratch and he thinks he spent about £12K with everything in. He did the work himself.
Looking good T & T! :) We keep thinking about painting the walls in our boat to brighten them up, but can't summon up the courage to do it in case we don't like it once done! Yours looks great though and really brightens the boat up!
Ronnie Lloyd Thanks Ronnie, painting the walls has made such a difference. I know what you mean though it's quite nerve wracking putting that first coat of paint on!
i dont mean to be offtopic but does someone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I was stupid lost the account password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Edwin Immanuel Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
As always great video very much better than it was surprising what a lick of paint does makes it look a heck of a lot better for just a little money great job guys whats next.? keep up the good work looking forward to the next video.
Call me a critic if you will, but I would have expected to varnish the wood on the bedhead *before* you mounted the shelf with the lights. I think I would have had separate switches for those lights too, so one can sleep while the other reads etc. I must admit I like varnished oak much better than paint, but you have done a great job - not what I expected when I heard "bedroom action" mentioned! Just kidding! Great video as usual! Thank you!
George Brown Unfortunately the wiring was already there to the switch so it was much easier to do it as we have. We knew the title was a bit risqué, I think that there might be some disappointed viewers when they realise that the video's about decorating 😄😄😄
Looks Great! I don't know if you two got up at the crack of dawn before, but I am thinking you will be now as soon as any light gets into that room and turns it unbearable to sleep! Then again I hear it rains and overcasts a bit over there so you could be ok, heh
Your zazzle link has a typo. It is the same kind I saw earlier today in someone else's RUclips channel, so it may be a RUclips formatting issue with long links. Same thing with your Patreon link. It only has www.patreon.com/ItsaNarrowboa which gives a 404 error.
Thanks so much John, I had updated them this week so it must be the way RUclips formats them. I'll have another go at amending them and thanks once again for letting us know.

A limewash or whitewash can look quite good if you still want to see some wood grain.

Steve Capper Hi Steve, cheers! What's next? A bit of relaxing I hope and then we really need to make a start on tidying up the exterior paintwork.
Great job guy"s. Good video...
Cheers!
Hi guys love the decor how did you fix your trim with no screw holes
Hi there, we have used a nail-gun and also counter sunk screws and filled the holes with wood filler.
As an artist Tori, you were not tempted to do a mural on that plain wall? Great job though, looking really good.
Steve Morton Ooh now there's an idea...

TheDugbo Oh we'll be fine, it doesn't get light before lunchtime here up north 😄😄😄
How much did you pay for this boat ? I’m thinking of doing something similar
Good job!
lovely work!
ThisNarrowboatAdventure Thank you so much!
What is the music you use at the start and finish please
Wayne Hallam The title is "Carpe Diem", full credits are in the description. Hope that this helps.

Just to let you know your Patreon link doesn't work!
CJT80 Thanks for letting us know, we'll look into getting that sorted. Cheers.
So much stuff you do not need every day. I think you need a cellar or roof. hi hi
Juergen Taddicken We really need to have a sort out once the work is finished as there's no chance of a cellar 😄
LMAO, Married, Owning a Narrowboat, = NO Bedroom Action 😴😴
George Stephen Yep, that's pretty much spot on 😄😄😄
AGHHHHHHHHH, I really prefer to see wood on a boat, it is MUCH easier to keep clean and just looks better (to me). Deeply disappointed of Stroud :-)
Paul Roberts In some cases we completely agree, nicely polished wood in a sea going boat or in a traditional narrowboat yes definitely.
