He would have made it in the UK US , now Gay and his best friend Eamon Andrews and Terry Wogan are gone but their memories will always be with us . God Bless their souls

Gay Byrne revealed a lot about his beliefs in The Meaning of Life, where he said "we were sold a pup" with regard to religion, and his openly pro LGBT rights, and divorce rights etc. Not so right wing there.
