You certainly had me giggling through this! Love your humour! Technology is fabulous... When it behaves! 😅
Lots of great patterns to consider and play. Thank you.
Great advice about singing - the practice room is the perfect time to throw a dodgy note and learn how to perfect it. Recording yourself is really important.
Just remember also, that most people when they record themselves singing often hate the sound of their own voice, especially when they start off, regardless of if it's in tune or not. Don't let this discourage you - if you don't get used to the sound of your own voice and you don't practice, you won't improve. I now consider it as a very necessary evil, only offset by the helpful dividends it brings for improvement! 😂
Once you've had time to get your bearings a bit with a new piece, I find it also helps having a trusted person or small group of people who you share your recordings with and who can give you honest, constructive, but kind feedback. Have to say Grass Roots Facebook group is a very safe environment for doing that 😊❤
And final thoughts - thanks to my trusted crowd, one of whom is the lovely Jim, but also Caryl, Michelle and Andreas, who patiently put up with my warblings and give such valuable feedback! 😊🙏

Thank you so much, Tory, For your sound advice, as well as sharing your thoughts and experience with creating Sound with a human voice. I’m not exactly at what separates us from AI is a humanistic soul that only can be achieved through the world of creativity, and being daring to fail. (Hence some of my playing and singing attempts.😂
I wish you well and take care

I forgot to ask, do you think it would be a good idea to incorporate a tune and piano playing for the future? Any requests, Tori?

Well, we certainly have to dare to try and be prepared to fail before we succeed.
I say this as I am sitting here with my finger on the back of my tongue singing arpeggios up to C6 in an effort to get my tongue to relax tension and comply with creating vocal space to hit these notes. I am getting there with it... No I need to teach my tongue to stay in the right position so I can do it without! There's nothing glamorous about learning music, but there is so much fun and laughter to be had on the way as you learn and grow! 🥰

@@grassrootspiano I totally agree, but not sure what my request would be....
      Hmmmm....
Perhaps do something very basic like Happy Birthday - it's a simple melody, many people are familiar with the tune and lyrics, which could give more brain band-width for nailing the bits that are trickier. Plus! There can then be plenty of opportunities for performing the finished piece when ready 😁

@@torysanderson4436 yeah, I want to start simple because I think so. Many of us get frustrated when we try to sing and play piano because we’re going about it With too many goals in mind, and most likely pieces and songs that are too hard for now that is :-).
