    Got this balanced with a oneplus 7 pro first attempt. I tried the g6 Max and it was a rattling pile of JUNK. The weebil s took some tinkering but only had to watch one balancing video from the g6 and apply that to this Weebil. Omg it's so smooth with a heavier smart phone. More complex but ultra smooth and quiet. I got the one with the extra handle and carry case for 20 bucks.

    The Weebill has been on the top of my list for a while now. Just comparing it to the Ronin it feels a bit more compact I guess, or maybe a bit more welcoming to a smartphone setup. Curious how it'll look and work with the cage. Hopefully it'll balance out a bit better. Defo do a video on how you set it up, Rob!

    • @SmartphoneFilmmaker
      @SmartphoneFilmmaker  3 года назад

      Same. It's really good! The reason I didn't use the Ronin is it seems like you need to use their app to get all the functions out of it whereas you can change everything (i think atleast) within the weebill s gimbal led screen itself which is simpler. The balancing is a lot harder than a smartphone gimbal to be honest. There's a video from a Moment guy who used a smallrig cage with it and I saw Cassius did that with his latest short too. Once I have the setup down 100% I'll make a video on it. Thanks Cindy!

    Hello,
    I have an iPhone 13 pro in the Smallrig case, microphone and various lenses on the Weebill S. In Votexmode or Unterslangmode there are strong vibrations. I have reduced the motor strength in the menu. This did not completely eliminate the vibrations.
    I have mounted a 15 cm long arc machine. The iPhone is mounted in front and a 400 gram metal block is attached behind it. This block is made of metal connectors for beams from the hardware store. No matter how I use the Weebill S now, there are no more vibrations.
    Have you also found a solution?

    • @SmartphoneFilmmaker
      @SmartphoneFilmmaker  2 года назад

      Hi. Yes I had the same problem to begin with. I now use the Beastgrip Pro Rig (which you can see in this video ruclips.net/video/CPTzKAZNt-I/видео.html ) which has given me the perfect weight distribution.
      Your issue might be how the weight is spreading across the gimbal or maybe add a different type of counter weight that could be attached to the smallrig.
      Also if you haven't already watch a couple of RUclips videos on balancing your gimbal. The tutorial with DSLR cameras still relate almost the same to using the gimbal with a smartphone.

    Great review! Informative. LOL with your great sense of humor! Oh yes Congrats on getting a flat with your GF. Good Luck! Now where I am at. I have been researching gimbals for about a week. I am what we call anal retentive when I buy something so complex to use and the cost over $300 (with the extras I want.) Yes, spreadsheet and all is the way, I satisfy my OCD during the process. It took my two months off and on to decide on my mirrorless Sony A 6400. That was over $1000, But now my time has come to an end and I need to get a gimbal. Or maybe I don't? Originally I looked at smaller gimbals to use with all 3 video capture devices, I currently have. GoPro 9, New iPhone 13 pro max and the Sony. Once I started looking at gimbals, I found myself focused on the larger pay load gimbals cause the smaller ones would be maxed out with the Sony. Although some reviewers say the smaller ones will operate a mirrorless. Then today, I remembered I started this entire search so I can use all 3. I use my GoPro a lot for skiing and fishing vids. So Boom I search Weebill S with iPhone, you where at the top of the list. Thanks for sharing so honestly and cleverly with this review. Cheers RJUnleashed
