Just got the Su6 and it is the worst plane I've ever flown. 37mm cannons: can't pen Tigers, Panther's and Sherman's which are the most common tanks at 4.7, only good at open top tanks, light tanks and SPAA'S. 27mm cannons: if the 37mm cannons can't do shit, what makes you think the 27mm cannons will do anything? 25kg bombs: utterly trash. And you get 16 of them. 16X the fun. 50kg bombs: mostly trash. 100kg bombs: not good at 4.7. 250kg bombs are recommended. 250kg bombs: average due to only having 2 of them. I don't care about rockets so I'm not rating them. Maneuverability: bad. No turn rate, no climb. Defensive armourment: bad due to the gunner being blocked by a massive rudder.
My final judgement: Skill Issue On a real note, your statement is correct. I just have a thing for being able to use shit planes in fairly effective ways.
You suck... and are completely in the wrong. Su6 w/37mm can pen any tank top down except something like the maus, and even the sides or panthers, how you've been failing to pen, is beyond me. 23mm can pen tiger roof and def pen panther roof easily. Rockets are admittedly hard to use but the 100kg bombs 1000% can kill everything up to king tigers. If your not killing anything with them your missing which isnt suprising when your completely throwing with the 37mm. Like cmon its the same gun on the TIS-MA if your not damaging or killing with them you just missing the target. The su6 is a fantastic dogfight. It has the engine and turnrate to best everything except japanese fighters and spitfires. Ive hunted and elimated dozens of fighters using it. The su6 is the best strike plane in ground rb for russia, only thing the best it is the tis ma and honestly only in its ability to stay in the fight longer with 150 rounds of 37mm. Edit: naw i take it back the su6 is easily one of the best attackers in the game when employed correctly. If only it had more ammo for the 23mm which is my favorite set up.
