the line shall be entirely underground from Diamant to Meiser

Nu nog de nieuwe metro lijn doortrekken tot in de nationale luchthaven.

er is al een trein op het luchthaven en in 2023 koomt er een tram(62)van Nord Station naar de luchthaven.
Volgens de plannen wordt Metro 3 in het kader van dit project niet doorgetrokken naar de luchthaven, maar was technisch mogelijk om deze door te trekken. Dat vliegveld in Vlaanderen mogen we niet vergeten. Vlaanderen zal een verlenging (bouwvergunning etc.) moeten accepteren. Metro 3 in Bordet staat ter discussie omdat de prijs fors gestegen is (van 1 miljard naar nu 2,5 miljard)
