- here's an update and maintenance video of a rainfall forest style terrarium that I've made 70 days ago.
the main concept of this project is to bring nature home in smaller scales.
having such miniature landscapes not only add beauty to your living scapes, also the visual effects like natural light or FLOWING water, help reduces stress levels and improve moods.
do comment or message me on Instagram if you have any questions regarding the process, I would love to answer your questions.

Thank you so much🙂
its beyond beautiful and calm. I wish i would try making one myself at least once in my life.
You are a genius. Hope u use this creativity to create bigger rainforests having their own ecosystems 🎉😊
It must be really soo good to sleep when you off the lights in your room.
Thank you for sharing! Wow! So creative. Wow! Bravo! Hot Summer in 2024. We need it to stay cool!
Oh my word! I so absolutely love that ❤. Now I really feel like I want one in my living room. Comfy chair, a book… and phone shut off 🤗
I love this so much. I would love to do something similar in my home one day.
Actually good maintenance video:) Cheers from SmallScaleTales🤍
Now start you a small custom business that will stay with you. Build them outside as well for expansion.
that is incredibly adorable you bring the whole jungle in your room in one piece very relaxing i like the idea i want it in my room too
very good 베리 굿 !
What a Beautiful Job you did & the Plants look so Healthy and Happy!!!
Absolutely love this, it's a living work of art, just stunning! Now I'm off for a wee lol.
good for farming new little plants, planning on doing something similar. very inspiring video lang
Woohooo wow, its super happy that's for sure..❤
amazing, like a Bonzai Rainforest! Thank you for sharing your beautiful work!
I love it so muchhhhhh, soo peaceful
Blooming brilliant! Greetings from Aus 💚⚘
It might be hard but create more videos that go for 20 mins. It will help you grow the channel, your really good at it and am certain everyone would love to see alot more. I 👍👍👍
Thank you so much
I could watch for hours, he is very good at what he does.
Thank you🙏
Amazing hobby. Very peaceful 😊
I love your work/natural art. Very creative.
Thanks
So relaxing and peaceful 😊
Thanks
@@langdiy you are welcome 🤗
Really at first I thought it as door open... Great vision and outcome is fabulous 👌⛈️
Please make one with anthuriums , ferns and orchids..
Ok
amazing
Has this piece ever leaked on you aside from the water splashes in front? like leaks pooling at the legs or anything? I'm curious how effective that water proof paint and silicone was.
Thats incredible work!
Hi Lang, the rain box was a very good design, easy to DIY. I saw yr concern for the rain might drip too out. i got a solution , might help. Just seal off the very first rows that are facing outwards. :)
I would have loved one of these when I was living in Pakistan. There were times when i would miss the sound of rain
Wow I wish I watched this video before I made my ikea rudsta cabinet😭😭I made mine in december though and unfortunately mine doesn’t stay as humid especially because mine was supposed to have a waterfall, pond and fogger but I didn’t seal the cabinet right so I haven’t been able to figure out how to fix my problem for months until now I have a new idea😂and also I didn’t use sheet moss on mine I used spagnum moss and sprinkled that and cococoir on the wet spray foam didn’t cover too much unfortunately 😭😭but I still love mine my plants are happy just wish there was more moss and saliginela mine doesn’t even grow really😭
Maybe your lighting could be increased. Use plants that require similar environments to make it thrive naturally.
Well done son!!!
Impressive
this is beyond words
Excellent ideas
I've watched all of your videos with the drip trays and subscribed to your channel because i admire your innovation. Which drip tray method do you prefer? The cotton strings from this video, or just simply drilling holes? I'd be really interested in a video for subscribers that details the pros/cons/tips for each method!
Thank you. both method works well, but i prefer drip tray with cotton strings, water drips more perfectly with cotton strings.
Does it have a temperature setting?
Because the natural environment is warm, and I suggest you collect rain water and use it instead. Rain water contain nutrients, which also helps the plants to develop better leaves and avoid rust on them.
I really like your idea! Great job!😊
Dont you have problems with mold and fungus? Amazing work, keep it up
Very exquisite.❤
I would love to do this l have a spare cabinet… can you tell me where you get all the items from I.e plastic/ pump from etc and what plants do you put in there. I would love to have this in my room
Love your work
❤❤❤
Still beautiful 😊
It looks really great and cool. I only wonder if the cocopeat is enough for the plants to survive longer. I feel its very less.
Congratulations once again! Two questions: what kind of Selaginella are you using? rotundifolia, denticulata, kraussania? in which country are you living and what is your average room temperature? That may explain some growth rates compared to most occidental houses. Thanks and regards!
make it again but bigger,,
Yes,
Great bro
do you keep the rain system on 24x7? doesnt the leaves rot?
No, not more than 6 hours a day
When the jungle grows out of the terrarium, you begin to create a jungle room 😂😮😂😮😂😮😂
Plus dehumidifying the room from mildew…. Beautiful idea but one must be trimming and ridding of excess plant growth and bugs and mold constantly. Idk if lots of UV would be the solution…
Great work, very inspiring. How about a fogger in the morning and rain in the evening?
What grow light are you using ?
Do these projects equire electricity? Like keeping the flow of the water running? Cause I have seen how you use these water pumps in your other videos. They're all very interesting
Yes it requires electricity
How do you keep the water from splashing out of the kabinet? The music is well chosen. ❤
i increased the front glass hight to prevent water from splashing out. It's not splashing out now
Which plant you used because not all plants can sustain so much water i guess
How long do you let the pump run ¿?
Not more than 6 hours a day
How do you know it if safe from mosquitoes?
How are you able to keep water from splashing out onto the floor? I know you heightened the front glass, but how about the first 70 days when it was shorter?
It was okay, Plants were small before. Water started to splash out once the bottom plants started to grow big.
how often and how long do you turn on the rain?
I've connected the pump to a timer. It rains for 3 hours every evening
@@langdiy what about the water, do it need to be changed?
So no bugs right? I mean, since it's not enclosed...
Yes No bugs
You could have a whole business here. I could see rich people wanting huge custom versions of this. Maybe you could go on shark tank? lol only kind of joking
Sunlight???
Rainforest plants require a very minimal amount of sunlight and he has kept it near the window so plants in bright hours get sufficient indirect light
Any bugs?
No
how these plants not rot??? please tell the names of these specific
How you remove excess dirt water ang clean
4:48 here
Does it rain 24 hours a day?
No not more than 7 hours a day
@@langdiy Is temperature and humidity recorded?
I legitimately thought the plants were fake 😱😱😱
Missing some birds ❤
I have watched both videos, I love it, but would have used a little bigger containers for the plants. They will soon get root bound and will die in those small ones.
What country do you live in? 🤔 🥲India???🤔
He is most certainly not in India.
yep india :)
@@prittib6412 uh yes i guess he lives in india, its there in his channel's "about". he is probably from northeast india :)
He staring at the terrarium wall feels very sad...
In everything I see, I see humans to be the image of God. This video is an example. Looks like God also created a rain forest but his cupboard is a bigger one than this man's cupboard😅
Why bring god into this 🙄
@@caycemccall1877 no offense just wrote what I thought that's all
how many times to needs waterring in this beautiful art ?
Please make one with anthuriums , ferns and orchids..
