My husband and I are enjoying your Istanbul videos, we will watch it everyday until our trip in 4 wks. Pls know you are a blessing and have helped us tremendously. We love Vienna's history as well, but I hope you find your heart's desire.
When I enjoy a view from a high place like that, it makes all my problems seem very small. You are still young. Be thankful for your teaching job and definitely pursue all your passions when it comes to making RUclips videos. You will have plenty to talk about and show your viewers. I am 65 years old and lived in the USA and Germany but now I live in Japan. I miss Germany. Don't forget to invest a little of your salary in a worldwide stock ETF so that you will have a nice sum in the future.
@@zebvalli3430 yeah, especially when everything was perfect back there. I didn't lose and come to find good things. I was winning & enjoying my life. Just came for my sons education. A huge sacrifice to make as a father..
@@Dr.Huzeyfe Not one parent immigrates to another country thinking life will be better for THEM, they do it for their kids. As an immigrant myself, I was thankful for the opportunities available to me that would not have been available where we came from. But it was definitely a step backwards for my parents. That was 45 years ago. I say this to hopefully encourage you, as such a move will not have been easy for you or your wife (or the kids - but trust me on this - they will benefit GREATLY from your sacrifice). Also remember this one thing - most immigrants DON'T have that you do however is that you have already life experience in Austria - that is a massive advantage vs someone brand new moving to a new country - all the best my friend.
@@renegroenen4311 wow thank you so much! I just woke up and thats the first thing I read. You really are absolutely amazing, I feel that it comes from your heart. Many many thanks
Dear Dr Huzeyfe. I just discovered your channel tonight, and first would like to thank you for your contribution of your very informative videos concerning Istanbul. Secondly, I just watched your video titled "being a broke, lonely PhD sitting alone no friends." My heart goes out to you. I was relieved to hear you at least have a family, because love will come from that. I also understand your mentality of being a "straight-shooter", of saying things on subjects directly. This is very much a European trait, and not necessarily Turkish (or in my case North American). Here in Canada where I live we constantly have to apologize for being direct, with things like, "I'm sorry, but could you do your job please", or " sorry, could you explain that to me again". This is very uncommon in Europe where both my wife and i are from, and it takes a lot to change (if you can at all). Personally, I don't think people need to change, they don't need to always "soften up" their views just to appease others. In any case, I understand you. In your video, you mentioned about wanting to go on a cruise ship as your dream. First, never give up on your dream. Second, the idea that all the people on these ships have a lot of money is just a facade. I would be willing to bet that 95% of those people put those trips on credit (credit card/line of credit/personal loans etc). Most people on those ships have no business being on those ships, not in terms of finances anyways (we have several friends that do these trips and they are maxed out on credit all the time). You're not missing anything my friend, especially the arguments in the household over money - life is hard enough without the stupidity of excessive spending. My wife and i live a comfortable life yet we look at a cruise as egregiously expensive, and have never been on one. I hope this brings you some comfort in thinking you somehow are missing out on life - you have a family, that is one of Gods greatest blessings. My thoughts go out to you and your family during your transition to Austria, and I wish you and your family the best and hope you catch a break in terms of work/life/living arrangements. I have said a prayer for you, and I wish you well.
@@renegroenen4311 you warmed my heart, I almost feel like crying reading your message.. I have a lot to learn from you. Thank you for talking about my dreams and encouraging me.. happens not so often these days.. ✨

@@zebvalli3430 yeah a lot, but I’m not trying to think about it, otherwise I get emotional and somehow depressed..
I can imagine how hard it must be to move to a new country.
