It really comes down to this, If Ainz meets you outside the tomb and likes you he will protect and treat you as a friend. You invade the tomb he will unleash hell on you with no mercy. The three elves are alive do to they were dragged into the tomb and when their master died they saw what they did and took them in. Bottom line you interact with Ainz and the tomb one way and your good as gold. you do it in a way that does harm or deceive Ainz and your toast.
TLDW= Ainz wasn't bluffing when he said death was a mercy compared to what he had in store for the group. Arche ended up losing all her humanity and sanity in this scenario oof.
Nah, she got it back. Ainz saved her sisters and used them as bargaining chips to secure her loyalty. She then goes on to teach him royal etiquette and dance. She lives with her sisters later in Nazarick as a loyal servant. This is a FAR better ending for her, and honestly even Ainz as he gets another follower with a unique skill (the ability to see MP).

He changed it for the light novel adaptation and killed her off; it's that simple. If you don't believe me, the internet is amazing as a search engine.
Mercy is death. The workers should of known better about going to an area that had previously had no history of ruins, but they let greed get the best of them. I notice none of the works teams had an escape plan outside of trying to run. One would think someone would of thought about having a magical transportation spell for emergencies.

As a former dungeon, turned guild base, it had some "native" effects (low level pop monsters, anti-teleportation effect, various teleportation traps, etc) that at most just had to be up kept with some gold (I think). I could be wrong since the last time I read the prequel chapter(?) arc(?) short story(?) was at least a year or two ago detailing how Ainz Ooal Gown conquered Nazarick with the 41 (or at least most of them were involved)

I think the teleportation protection is something that any guild base can have but I'm not sure. Same with the pop up monsters and NPCs. They also invested a lot of real money in the place. They got a reward for conquering it on their first try though and another one when they managed to defend agains a huge coalition of players. I'm not sure what they were right now. The Caloric Stone which was used to make Gargantua and however they made Rubedo?
it’s mentioned that the region was a poorly mapped out frontier of the world…in like episode 2-3 (as well as chapters) way way before the workers came. an the workers were told it was a empty ruin with no one in it save for maybe some undead.

Roberdyke probably had the most morally good reason for leaving the guild. Erya seems to be the worst of the bunch. Even the others dislike him. WN Arche eventually got a happy ending together with her two sisters. Ainz was not amused that Shaltear's training was successful though. Gashokukochuuou (餓食狐蟲王 Ga shoku ko chuu ou) is included in the Five Worst for their appearance. The Kanji mean hunger, meal, fox, worm/insect and king/ruler. Make of that what you want.
I actually didn't want Ainz to send Shalltear to delete the runaway girl. I wanted him to capture her and keep her alive instead since she can use flight magic and that is considered rare in the new world and she has potential just like Hamsuke for have a unique auro and being a capable combatant. Right after she die a small clip showcase her two family members might have been her sisters who was hoping she would return to them very soon.
The only problem is the sisters. They may live peacefully for a time but if Ainz wishes to test her loyalty just like the villagers and decides to run or show her true color who matters more not only the overlord she would have to watch out for but anyone who loves him for his kindness to other races. The other problem is her friends being tortured.
This was a death sentence just jumping into a random ruin without proper preparation and knowledge. But that's what they risk going in. Hell they should have known if they were gonna face the undead they were not gonna get mercy.

Imagine what Arche could have become with proper tutelage and time. Hell, I'm legitimately surprised Fluder never recruited her himself. That ability is almost assuredly one of the reasons Fluder became as powerful as he is in the first place. Just a lot of wasted potential casually killing her.

It is also highly likely that it can reappear in someone else. - In Arche's sheet we are told that she was almost close to the limit of her potential, so at most Arche could enter tier 4. In practice every living being has a personal block and cannot go beyond. At most she can change race and gain racial levels but for this an item would be needed to do so and if you really have to give an item to someone, give it to fluder or give it to someone with more potential.

Ironically. Letting Arche "escape" before killing her likely made Demiurge extatic. As just a few books before he mentioned it as one of his favorite scenario's he would like to try in the future. Giving a glimmer of hope for escape before crushing them entirely. (The conversation after Tuare was kidnapped, and Demiurge came with others to explain to Sebas how they would raid the Eight Fingers base locations.)
