Wow this is really incredible footage for the common person and ralfians alike very nice to see perspectives like this ever so rarely this was a really cool video to see and especially a mini tour of Westchester yard never knew they had more to the back of it awesome video and keep up the good work and stay safe out there! 💪👍
I heard on the news that several teenagers stole a subway train. It took it for a joyride. But it’s nice to see MTA workers giving us an insight video from the train. Thanks dude.
Great video, I took a tour about 10 years ago of a maintenance shop, i think on #5 line, but they never showed us the outside yard. Back in 70's I grew up near #4 and D yards. My window faced them. Since then I continue to dig drains.
Wow...... That is so cool as I'm a huge train geek growing up as a kid that yard in The Bronx is huge, thanks for sharing your content, and my favorite Subway car is the R33 Redbird train from the (7) Subway Line courtesy from a railroad employee of PATH as I'm living my dream as associated with trains 😁👏👌
This is an incredible video that I think the MTA should promote more. A look into the operations on an MTA train worker is so cool, especially the mow units. I would love to see More of this if possible. Incredible work.
Very interesting! I look behind the scenes. Whenever I see all those switches in the tracks I wonder how all the points are set correctly to get a train going to the right place, and if a subway train has ever accidentally been sent down the wrong track....

you wrong this is hybrid locomotive I mention before in one answer to someone in past NYCT has ten (10) electric - electric locomotives those ten locomotives use third rail power and crossing true the gap use 37 volt battery power ,but because in subway system we have gaps are so frequently that's battery they have not enough time to recover after beeing drain before hit another gap .Transit stopped using them, I heard they were sent to Canada for rebuilding, but I don't know the details
@@ChristopherNY Ahh, I thought the hybrids were still on order. I am happy to have you in the MoW shop to correct us. Be safe Chris and keep them subways open and operational. I must say I do like the look of these R156s

I would also love to see inside Linden. It's the only facility I've never seen any video from. Please and thanks.

all work train cars are IRT cars having ability to run on both divisions
