    In my opinion insider trading should be legal, the only consequence would be that Company Reports would have little impact on the market because speculators would have to wait/hold since they are almost certain that someone has access to the company report, the market would therefore achieve uncertainty, creating a fair ground

    With Forex that information is somewhat irrelevant. I say so because it doesn't impact forex transactions like the way it impacts stocks. Insider trading in forex is almost impossible. The brokers can see all the account transactions even of large volumes placed right before news events. But it's hard to point out if this is insider trading cause you're not the only one doing it at that time. Others place buy stop orders or sell stop orders.
    This account progress would be considered normal, more especially on an ECN account. Brokers make money from this and at most times even encourage it cause they also have their own ways of causing slippage and rigging so that you're stopped out even before you're in the trade.
    Come to think of it big hedge hunds are the main culprits of such dealings and they get away with it.

    I''ve seen the market spike the other way or both ways on good numbers...not sure how you can profit even if you know the data numbers beforehand in Fx.

    • @TraderNick
      @TraderNick  Год назад +4

      Usually a spike in both directions is due to mixed data. For example, on jobs numbers if employment change beats, but unemployment rate misses, it may cause a spike in both directions as markets scramble. If data is clearly a massive beat or massive miss, markets will in that case usually gap in that direction quickly. If you know there will be a very large miss or beat due to confidential info, you could make 100% winning trades. An example might be: they expect 100k new jobs created, and it comes out at 250k new jobs created, the market will strongly move.

    I still can't understand. This guys is cheating for insider trading right? Then what should we call The true 1st person who should get this info? Someone should have the 1st one that received this info for example goverment or brokerage. That info is secret document?
    If this guys is cheating, what should we call the goverment or brokerage that execute a trade based on this info?
    This is messed up

    but isn't it the same kind of thing the instatutions do to the retail trades, they know exactly where the market is going, cos they're the biggest players, so therefore always win their trades against retailers.
    good luck to them i say. 😉
