Ahhhh hope I was ok back then! Haha, good times at Palmers!! And yeah they’re some good suggestions. Yeah I can explain the main tools we use re set up and explain what does what and when. 😄👍🏼
@@DLRTV23 it was a while back , you’d just done clios and had an outing in the btcc vectra I’m sure . Was a good day as always at palmers. When’s the next VT , assuming post media day .
Good stuff. Surprised to see you're a right foot braker. I thought all you youngsters (compared to me!) all left foot braked these days.
Yeah a lot of people are surprised at this! When I started racing it was a H pattern gearbox and I had to heal and toe in jnr ginettas. I’m some areas it’s a disadvantage but some other areas it’s actually better. Maybe I can do a little video on this to explain properly.
@@DLRTV23 A video like that would be good. There's a real lack of videos about racing FWD cars from people who know what they are talking about on RUclips.
What I would like to know is when you out in the car etc especially during a race situation how much vibrations, shakes etc do u get whilst sitting in the seat . Obviously you don’t have comfort suspension or even a nice foam seat like a road car so is it actually painful doing 20 laps round a circuit etc or do you block it out mentally as u so busy driving
Yeah that’s a good one, the effects it has etc. I have to put a lot of work into my back etc to keep on top of it so I’ll get this in at some point! Thanks! :)
