the biggest issue i have with this tier list in hindsight is that you focus so much on graphics (hence having boring ass riverside in the A tier based mostly on graphics) but in any game ESP MK i just care about gameplay and the graphics are A.) getting much better in all the new DLC tracks for the most part and B.even ones like Bangkok that arent as pretty its not like im looking at anythign but the raod when i race so i never feel like it takes me out of it...i think if all the graphics were the same and u ranked the wave on gameplay you'd have a far more 'traditional' ranking for wave 4
My Ranks/Reasons: 1-Singapore Speedway: never thought id have a city track this high (though all 3 city tracks here were the best imo besides for Sydney/Paris) but i thought it was super entertaining to race on and im a sucker for long aerial section 2-Yoshi's Island; one of the best looking DLC tracks and a really fun course to play 3-DK Summit; never played the OG so i loved this, almost a mt.Wario remix in the best way 4-Waluigi Stadium; i like this more than wario stadium, shorter laps but i love the halfpipe acessible routes that lead to the glider section TIE: 5-Bankgok Rush; one of the best city tracks as well, enough variation to stay engaging and beautiful lighting plus i love the long glider section over the freedom monument etc ¬AND¬ 5-Amsterdam Drift; another great city track that has 3 totally unique laps with the first in the roads, the second almost all under the canals and the final lap going through the tulip fields etc 7 - Mario Circuit: obv circuit tracks are bland but the spitting fire plants and the newly added forest section/shortcuts make it more enjoyable than toad circuit for example 8 - GBA Riverside Park; not a bad course at all but it seems to be a 'love it or hate it' course, yeah its obv a huge upgrade over the GBA one and i do like how they remade it but its still like a 6.5/10 for me cuz while i love the graphics and lighting/sound etc, i care more about the courses and the course is pretty fun to race on its A.) way too short, B.) the addition of ptooie plant's to spice it up is a gimmick thats pointless and hard/not worth trying to pull off to maaaybe get a banana/shroom (if anything u should just automatically get the prize they carry if you hit one the very least) and C.) its just kinda boring overall imo but again, even the lowest tracks for me were like 6.5-7/10 and the avg for the whole wave is prob like, a 8.5/10 which is atleast as good as wave 3 imo
singapore speedway is S tier and im ready to die on that hill lol i love aerial tracks and its just so much fun and diff from other city tracks (and the other city tracks in this wave were def better than B too, id say lower A tier for both amsterdam with its three totally unique laps/use of underwater racing and bangkok for its long glider section/unique layout and optional top/bottom paths at times ) - now i can seee u putting dk summit, yoshis island and even waluigi stadium above them but gba riverside park may look good but its sooooo short/boring, those ptooeys are the dumbest gimmick cuz u have to waste a decent item to hit them and u may not even be able to grab the thing they drop as it could fly anywhere = funny riverside is always in the top 3 or bottom 2 of every list it seems like lol

I got jumpscared when I saw how much Tour tracks there were The new, original tracks are by far the best tracks we have gotten, it's just so comical how better they are than tour tracks, tour tracks to me are so forgettable and the same-ish The retro tracks are brilliant too, they've been glowed up to the max Overall thoughts are, OG tracks are heat, Retros are nice, Tour tracks are comically bad and the same (Just my opinion)

funny most people thought the city tracks in this wave were far and away some of the best only outdone by sydney sprint and maaaaybe paris promenade - amsterdam has three unique laps, bangkok also has lots of variation plus long glider sections and the alternate top/bottom splitting paths then singapore speedway is AMAZING, one of my fav tracks int he whole game, not just DLC and easily the best city track by a mile...on the other hand the boring city ones like tokyo, london, and nyc are boring as all hell imo so im not totally biased - but then again i never played tour so im sure that adds to the novelty for me

Really enjoyed Singapore Speedway, for me it has been one of the best Tour tracks

Personally I like the Countdown style more, but you should do what you feel fits best :)
I still hate that Nintendo keeps marking the non-city Tour tracks as "new."

I have never really been a fan of tier lists. Always preferred just a countdown from worst to best
