Thanks for the info! Nothing like biting into an unripe persimmon 😂 , as a kid when I came across wild persimmons it was a quick lesson learned! Love pawpaws too & the tea from leaves and stems are potent medicine, similar to the soursop / graviola of the Caribbean.

You're so lucky to have so many pawpaws. They take forever to fruit, but if you have a wild grove going you're one of the lucky ones.

I love cherries I love love, love love love them I grew up with a cherry tree in New Jersey. It was a huge black cherry tree and we ate cherries all summer. It was heartbreaking when the cherries were gone, we knew Summer was coming to an end. How devastating.

I don't know if that dog is big enough to protect you from coyotes, I think the coyotes travel in pack don't they? I hope everything works out great for you guys and you have a great crop this year.
