There's something about Derek's vocals on this track that sound downright magical. One of my favs from this album fo'sho.
It's the melodies dude. The man writes some saucy fucking genius progressions!!! You can tell he listens to a lot of pop/RnB
And he's just the best vocalist around in this genre right now. His range, diversity and control is just ridiculous.

Marvelous! This would make a 80 year old jump out his rocking chair, drop his pipe, and go "oh no, I'm mixing up my words again! Who knows when I'll make a move but she comes and she goes and she does what she's told!". Add some air guitar to that and some headbanging, damn, call that revival!

This is literally the first post 90s punk band I've ever listened to and I think it's awesome. I used to see these guys get posted around tumblr a long with neck deep and the usual fangirl bands so I never really gave them a chance
+Matthew Hayward lol dude these guys aren't punk... they're barely pop punk at this point (don't et me wrong they're rad, just really don't have many punk elements). And in terms of the "usual fangirl bands" they have an almost identical fanbase to Neck Deep, ATL, and even a lot of the 5SOS fanbase... just saying
Best song on the album by a country mile.
I don't listen to much pop-punk. It's mostly post-hardcore for me. This band is probably the best I have found at writing catchy melodies. Even the verses of the songs are really catchy. Gotta be one of my favorite bands ever.

(IMO) The finger things > around the world and back. We don't need another all time low.. Lyrics aren't even close to as well written as on TFT. It's all pop and zero punk.. Was hoping for more of Derek's raspy sound. It will grow on me with time, but as a die hard state champs fan, I am sorta disappointed. Seems like they mirrored ATL to sell more albums? Who knows.

If you were a die hard fan you'd have seen them leaning this way a long time ago. (IMO) I think TSSF and knuckle puck just yell monotone vocals into mics and just speak of angst and not much uplift. +Thomas Murray nah man this sounds like old NFG and old FOB and the starting line. This is what pop punk sounds like. I listen to it all before any of these bands came out and it's what I grew up on. I mean think what you want man. You just kinda sound like all the other haters who turned their backs because they put a little more pop in their punk and touring with bands like 5sos. This is just solid writing. From the instruments all the way to the vocals.
