@HumbledTrader - Shay, please schedule and post a podcast interview with an options day trader that makes consistent money with conventional "buy to open" calls and puts. Do they trade one stock or ETF? Do they have a specific way of choosing a stock on a daily basis if they buy a different stock every trade? Do they choose an expiration date that is within a week or further out? Maybe they can demonstrate a live buy and sell trade that is prerecorded if your interview is conducted outside of trading hours? An opportunity to see them purchase the option and close it. I watched the podcast with the trader that sells options and ultimately buys stock within his strategy. I am curious to hear from a successful options trader that doesn't exercise the options. Thanks!!
I have now been watching your content for years, and this is, in my opinion, the most refreshing and useful video that I've seen in a long time. Brilliant. Keep these 1000% plays' videos coming, please! Much appreciated for all of your work.
This video is much better for learning than the videos about interviewing other traders.. I skip many shay's interview-videos; it is just wasting time...🙂
I've watched your videos for a few years now, and have learned a lot, but never actually attempted day trading. Last week another RUclipsr's videos were recommended to me and I got hooked on the idea of really learning this and training myself. I, of course, started watching your videos again, and I started paper trading this week. (Thank god I'm only paper trading right now) Anyway, this and a couple of your other videos have really helped explain many of the things I was seeing, but couldn't understand why the market was reacting the way it was. Makes so much more sense now. Thank you for being such a great teacher.
Don't waste your money ive been trading for yrs...u will blow your money in the end. Day trading is pure casino gambling. There's so many stats over the years that have been assembled, showing 95% will lose money. She is trying to make it look easy so people buy her course. She Never spoke about how much money she lost on the rest of her position when Halo got massacred on the way down.... very sneaky!
I've lost over 80k in the last few years but am not discouraged one bit! Just keep chugging along, be patient and take gains where you can. Also.. ALWAYS use a mental stop loss.
Its very interesting when u talk about your trades,u mention u sold some of your position close to the high on holo and u don't talk about how much money u lost on the rest of your position when it got massacred, on the way down...very sneaky sales lady pitch to buy your course's. And she probably conveniently forgot to mention that she probably will be getting a kickback for people joining CenterPoint.
I have been watching videos and dabbling in trading but need to get serious now. I am happy that I happened upon your content recently as I find it to be the most educational I have been able to find thus far! Thank you!
I've been trading a lot of these lately 😅 just going long 🎉 thought I was hot stuff lol... til I got caught 💰 (bagholding 😅) but still, I had some great trades. Wow, Shay, amazed to see this video today! Clarifies a lot more for me, instead of my sort of "seat of my pants" trading style 😅
Thank you shay, i see your point that there are few levels that are important to look out for, but I dun get the idea that how you can claim that there are some short sellers being trapped when the price breaks these important levels, aren't this just a normal breakout of important price level?
on the video at 9:30, how do you know the shorts were trap during that time frame? It doesn't look like there is any major trap whatsoever going from $3.50 to 15.50. So had you held from Feb 8 to 16, you would d have made a killing. Better yet, had you bought the dip on Feb 10 and held to Feb 16, you would have 6x. But then again it is easy to look in hindsight. However, at the time during those time, no one can really predict what is going to happen tomorrow or the day after.
Thank you very much for all the content Shay a long time follower and you've helped me and a lot of traders understand the stock market approche as a day trader far more better!!!🎉🎉🎉 If i may ask you to please cover the slippage topic (specifically on tws) i would be more then gratefull and im sure a lot of others over here because that sh*t on tws has got me to lose so many winning trades i cant even count for.... had me blow my first stock trading account on interactive and brought me to a huge drawdown from the mental side of trading wich lead me to my second account blowup 😑 ( first account 2k$ second 1k$) And again thank you very much Shay!!!! 🌹🙏
True. They are sold out for several years “Lamborghini has sold out of super cars until 2026 as the wealthiest consumers show little sign of being hit by a broader global slowdown. Great video Shay, thanks. I find myself overwhelmed when the stocks go crazy and i freeze up. On these last 2 days i didnt make a single trade. Is there a video discussing this?
@@HumbledTraderOfficial Oh my god, I really don’t believe you replied to me😂😂. I am following every step and bit you explain in your videos since long and finally started earning something. I am a huge huge huge fan and one day if I succeed , I wish I can help others like you do.
Hey Shay, I also lost ~4k on DTSS on a long trade on the 14th. I’m a relatively new trader and it definitely did a lot of damage to my mental strength going into trading. Also, to note this sum was a significant percent of my newly opened trading account.
Sorry to hear that. Since you are a new trader, I would highly recommend you consider not trading low floats at all. Just focus on your process and being consistent trading tickers with large floats, over 100 million, that will give you realistic returns. It sounds like you traded way too many shares for your account size. just know you can build your account back up slowly and methodically. Just stay away from these low floats until you got a better handle on your trading methodology. Trading is a get rich, slow scheme. Good luck!
I think you’re trading with too much size. Risk only small amount when you’re starting out. Less than 1 or 2% of your total account size. Stop trying to make money right away. Treat this cost as your market tuition
You can scan gap % during pre-market but I don’t think you can scan float with Webull unfortunately. You’d manually have to look into the stock’s details. Market cap can be used instead for scanning since small caps that are top of the list will most likely be a low float
@@HumbledTraderOfficialI found the new stock screener for TradingView and it seems it has all the attributes that you mentioned. But I noticed that most youtube traders use something like ThinkOrSwim, Tradovate etc. Is TradingView not good enough for beginners to trade with?
I don't understand why you brought at 30 dollars when support was at 25.60's area. Why would you not buy at the support level of "25.60's" vs buying at that resistance level? That was the resistance it broke higher. Trying to understand your thinking on this trade Shay
I missed out the bull run And I lost hundreds of thousands I think I will just end everything Permanently Maby heaven will have video games to keep me busy
I did well day trading and I wanted to swing $RENT because there were so many positive news about its application of AI. Alas, I am bagholding now and feel heartache to cut my losses. I’ve been finding these reversed reactions where there’s positive catalyst but it goes the other way. What is your take on fear and instability on the stock market. Nowadays war but previously COVID?

I love the bull on your desk! Bullish! ;)
Great Video. You went long pre-market? (8:57) Can you actually do that?
Yes there are brokers that allow premarket trading
Hot, Humble and SMART!! 🙂

Yes around 5

Sometimes when it goes up and it suddenly drop all the back

Learn to be profitable with small trades before you size up. Maybe 3 -5 shares so you can still scale out.
I created a Webull account but I cant find these for the stock watchlist: Float and Gap up %. Am I missing something or do I need a better tool?

Low float low cap stocks is a dangerous game to play. Make sure to use stops.
