If this was a song actually composed for Halo, it would actually have a really good meaning with different perspectives. The chorus and a lot of other lines would be from the perspective of your everyday marines, some lines for ODSTs, too. All parts about being superhuman, sacrificing, wars being like family tours and the concerns about who will protect everyone when they’re gone is from the Spartans’ view. ODSTs are kinda in the middle ground. A lot of them would share the lines as the spartans, and the marines. Like the one about it being another war, or ‘family tour’ would be from the ODST’s perspective as well. For example, later on in the song, specifically here: 1:59 mainly is every single perspective spliced into one huge verse.
you know in 2017 is where i felt the nostalgia and its because of the bad times i cant remember in what time line are they from anymore but is that a good thing so i wont suffer as much only that i remember those bad times? halo has made me stronger its a foolish thing to say because its just a video game! but it is a master piece!!!!!
I think you are wrong ,master chief is a militar range in the navy (Master Chief Petty Officer) and it is pretty hard to achieve that range ,so it would be "John is the best master chief in history"
He isnt really superhuman either. He's genetically engineered and could probably still kill an entire covenant cruiser in a set of armor, but he can still die. He almost died at the beginning of 3 and at the end of 4. Another great example is the entirety of Halo 3.
