Chesapeake Bay Summit 2024: Why isn’t the Bay clean-up working as well as we expected?

When it comes to water quality and pollution, the Choptank River on Maryland’s Eastern Shore is one place in the Bay watershed where our clean-up expectations did not match up with reality. Farmers are installing runoff-reducing management practices… but nutrient pollution in the river continues to rise.
