Got to be honest lads the new Black Ops is living up to high standards. Bringing back some of the good old days with that grind to get prestige and the old maps that are back
The reaction after being manipulated into killing Mason, chosing our own ending in the campaign, playing with a sibling or friend with split screen or system link, the weapons that were advanced from the previouse game but still reminded us of its originality, the return of nuketown in multiplayer while playing a public match as you have one of those sweet moment's when you get that ballista kill, or getting that rc-xd. The times when we had those hilarious moments on the mic in xbox live, playing in a lobby with that guy that has the perfect voice of donald duck or Peter Griffin, or the time where you and your friends be joking around making one of the most memorable moments yet, or just simply being a jackass and trolling each other, the intense competitive mode of domination; as you get the most savage killcam, or be in a lobby with the most hilarious group of ninja defusers in search and destroy. The lost treasure-like-secrete of call of duty's greatest game mode now on its turning point, as the community played endless matches of zombies together; either public match, or local. The revolution of custom game machanics, the dream map that everyone got hyped for, pre ordering to get to play nuketown zombies for the first time; getting that rare nuketown zombies tag just for pre ordering (its called barracks i think but cant spell lol), the return of dlc's with new multiplayer maps remastering maps like firing range, the dynamic map elements, both the build-up and expansion of the zombies storyline and game mode, then the release of the peacemaker AND the unbelievably sexy ray gun mark II, the insain easter egg's, the first time we saw the new perks, the hype when the community was waiting for the new motd trailer to drop during COD|XP. The release of Origins as the original crew returned. The revolutionized weapon camo's, the pack a punch in Origins, the return of old and new weapons from the box, and ofcource, the first easter egg ending cutscene which shocked so many hardcore zombie fans, the very twich stream i watched when i was 12 when Milo was in tears watching it for the first time... So many youtubers like JCBackfire, Azura, MrTLexify, and ofcourse Milo (MrRoflWaffles), and soo much more which soon grew both the CoD and Zombies community. This community along with the release of Halo via Bungie truely brings me back. Those years man... 💙
I honestly feel so sad and angry that these days are over. We will never have something like this again. I also feel incredibly sad for the kids who won't even know what Black Ops 2 is or even enjoy what we enjoyed. :(
+whitegriffin92093 It was really fitting in with the scene, even with the main menu sometimes I would just leave the menu screen and look at it while listening to the music.
It's like people at Treyarch hear some elevator music while coming up the elevator at Treyarch H.Q and made it into this with a bit of a piano part and a touch of sadness. I expect them to put this as elevator music at Treyarch H.Q.
A 10th anniversary for this game is a MUST! All COD players should come back and revisit this during November and December during 2022 just to play and enjoy this game ONE....LAST.....TIME!!!!!!
If you’re a cod OG here you paved the way for the new cod generation. They may never know how fun the custom game lobbies was or anything but that’s why we Came first 💯🙏🏿
@@payneintheasschannel it played the full actual BO2 theme. This is the main menu theme not the BO2 theme. If you haven’t already check it out. It’s pretty good
Looking back at this black ops 2 was amazing the story was beautiful the Multiplayer was fun and awesome and the zombies maps were so great in everything you knew when you turned your Xbox 360 or ps3 and heard this you knew it was going to be a trip

Out of all the cods I’ve played going back to COD 4 mw1 this has been the most difficult and most memorable theme to find. Will always bring me back to that moment in time.

Kinda weird how as a kid I knew about call of duty and wanted to play it but my parents never let me since I wasn't old enough to play. So whenever I was at my cousin's house and they had the game I would play with my brother. Then finally in 7th grade when my basketball team won a tournament or championship. Our coach told us he'll buy the newest video game that came and it was black ops 2. What was even more funny was I didn't even have a console at the time and then my parents bought me one that Christmas to play it
The fact that When always you sign to PSN just to play one last time of cod black ops 2. Remember your buddies you made on the Crazy trip and now, its all gone. I cant even sign in because it said, "Black Ops 2 Servers have been shutdown for me"
Wow this soundtrack brings back special memories. I’m probably not the only one but I really miss the long adventurous campaign cuz I’m a noob that enjoys long video game stories. Same for zombies I miss buried.

Let’s all play bo2 on a specific day of December. I’m on ps3 I would just like to play this amazing game one more time
That is an ultra cool idea! And we can make a hashtag something like #rememberBO2
