Would be a dream to apply, just finished my A-Levels. I started my PPL on a Cessna 152 when I was 16 but soon after discovered I have a colour vision deficiency. It's probably the most crushing feeling I'll ever experience. The rules are so unfair on it, can only hope for the day they become less strict in the UK like they are in other parts of the world :(
I'll add a bit extra on - It sucks because I have zero problems day to day. I even travelled up to Scotland to sit a more advanced CAD test which the CAA accept. That too was unsuccessful, they described how I might struggle recognising the navigation lights of aircraft etc, yet ironically on the travel home, this was no problem, and it never has been! I really believe it's something that isn't talked about enough, the rules are so outdated. Technology has advanced so much now we have full glass cockpits. Something that sums it up for me is, military pilots are allowed to fly with nightvision goggles which block out basically every colour there is, yet me, who is unable to see a very very specific shade of red on a paper colour book test, is completely banned from obtaining my full medical.

that sucks man. did you think about obtaining a glider license? i assume the rules might differ and your slight vision problems wont be a problem. try it!

I was told always have a plan B... I know young pilots who have degrees in engineering even law etc.. something they could fall back onto if "nature" intervened,,,,, enjoy the sun sets and sun rises !

    Dear *****,
Thank you for completing our testing for the role of Speedbird Pilot Academy. We greatly appreciate the time and effort you've put in.
Unfortunately, we've decided not to progress your application on this occasion. We appreciate this may be disappointing news.
Should you wish to try again for the same or a similar role, you will need to wait six months from the date of your assessment. However, you can apply for a different role at any time.
Thank you once again for your interest in joining British Airways.
    Best wishes,

@calebalbuquerque5519 BA are saying that after the stages of application you've done, whether it's the situational judgement aspect, or the following tests, that you weren't successful enough to progress to the next stage. But if they do the scholarship again further down the line, you are free to reapply.

I wanted to like this advert but it's a struggle after having just watched BA's 1989 'Face' advert (winking eye in the desert/Tom Conti). The latter was inspiring, upbeat, epic. This latest version is... well... predictably bland and formulaic. But good luck BA. I hope you can consistently get back to where you once were.

I paid for my husband to do the simulators at BA years ago. The instructor pilot was female and had been grounded due to pregnancy (way to go BA before diversity was a buzz word!) . It was a brilliant experience as a “passenger” and he thought landing in Hong Kong was the best experience all lined up by the instructor. She made me realize how much a pilot earns their salary at touchdown and every time I land today I think about it.

yeah that's not discrimination.. That's a medical requirement implemented by CAA/EASA. As soon as you declare yourself pregnant, you are not allowed to legally fly. It's not BA.
