Crème caramel or leche flan is an egg-milk caramel pudding dessert. Creme caramel or leche flan is so easy to make, you can cook it by either steaming it, or baking it in an oven. And you need very simple ingredients: eggs, evaporated milk, condensed milk, caramelized sugar, pure vanilla as flavoring.
A creme caramel recipe, or leche flan recipe is very similar (if not the same) to a caramel custard, or an egg pudding with caramel, just called differently (like typhoon and hurricane!). Taste wise, a creme caramel or leche flan is also similar in taste to a creme brulee, and/or an egg custard pie recipe, but not the same.
Leche flan is a popular Filipino desserts in the Philippine version. It is considered a Filipino food, or Filipino recipe. Creme caramel or leche flan is quick and easy dessert recipes, yet delicious and sweet desserts! Crème caramel or leche flan will be a great addition to your Thanksgiving desserts, or Christmas desserts!

eggs
evaporated milk
sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract or lemon rind
