Do not disconnect the hood strut. Liked where you left the fuse box intact though. Separate the air guide assembly from the blower motor, makes it so much easier to pull

I have same exact problem with my F10. Can you link where you got the blower motor and resistor from please?
Just search up rockauto and put in the information for your car then go in the search bar and look up blower motor
Appreciate the guide bro. Got everything from rockauto and just fixed mine today. Everything is now working perfectly.
