In India even government hospitals are of very good quality now and have all the facilities like ICU beds , operation theaters, diagnostic facilities and equipments like CT Scans etc and these are absolutely free. Private hospitals are also there in adequate numbers in tier 1 and tier 2 cities . Slightly inferior hospitals are available in district towns.
