@@sylardcomfull I think it is not quite fair to compare the much more experienced Kai with Matt: how many hundred times do you think did Kai perform (and practice) this classical Gamma Ray song within the last 25-30 years, after the original singer Ralf Scheepers left the band? The quite stunning high parts, as they were originally sung by Ralf, are sung Matt - not Kai. Kai was there for fun only - playing some gigs with his girlfriend's (now wife's) band. No pressure at all. But Matt had to sing and survive next to Kai Hansen. Quite high pressure for him I guess...
The band is named after Ravenclaw, one of the four houses of Hogwarts from the Harry Potter fantasy world. It's not unusual and actually quite a tradition that metal bands are using names linked to (fantasy) literature. Anyway, why do you think the band's name is embarrassing or as you say "peinlich"? Ich kann das echt nicht nachvollziehen.
