Tony Bennett gives me great encouragement about growing old. He doesn'the try to look younger than he is; he just brings his decades-aged talents to a decades-old song and makes it a rare treat from Grampa. Beautiful. I want to do this kind of thing as I age and to help others "Look for the Silver Lining" just as he does.
Tony Bennett is the only singer and artist who has brought so much talent and love from what he does. We have been so lucky to have him all these years--and hope for many more. Luv Ya
El mas grande. Tuve el privilegio de verlo en su presentacion en Puerto Rico. Es real, canta igual que en sus grabaciones. No habra otro como el jamas. Pura legenda. Esto es musica.
Astoria's own, Mr. Tony Bennett... We love you Tony!!! How exciting is it, to hear you singing my name? :) Thank you! ~ Silver Perry Hobart of Astoria, Queens, New York.
Happy Birthday to my idol Tony Bennett. Today he turns 90 years young and he remains a viable force in music and the World Stage. A master and King. Legendary!!!!...(project 52)
TONY BENNETT / BILL CHARLAP - Look For The Silver Lining Listening at this moment to Tony Bennett and one of today's greatest jazz pianists Bill Charlap - in a live performance of the title track from their Grammy-winning album of 2015; “The Silver Lining” - celebrating the music of Jerome Kern, the acknowledged 'dean' of 20th century composers and, “one of my favorites” says Tony on his Facebook page this day. “The wonderful Bill Charlap” says Tony after his accompanist's solo on the musical bridge - at once evocative of Bill Evans, while retaining the distinctive Bill Charlap style; In just a few tasteful chords and phrases Mr. Charlap triggers harmonic memories of Tony with Bill Evans - their iconic 'alone together' albums shortly before Evans' early death in 1980. Hard to imagine any other living singer performing with such power at the start of his ninth decade. Recorded “August of 2015 in New York.” Thanks, Tony Bennett. Most will know this great Jerome Kern (wrote the songs for first modern Broadway show) as Look for the Union Label from 1970s union commercials, re-popularize this week by John Oliver's Show on union busting.
Amazing isn’t it!? And he’s still letting it all hang out there, with just a piano for accompaniment (the marvelous Bill Charlap) instead of hiding behind a big orchestra, which can cover a multitude of sins. Even at this age, he wasn’t afraid to be front-and-center. We’ll never see another.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Tony & Jerome Kern the greatest...but am really impressed with the accompanist, Bill Charlap; right in class with Bill Evans, actually better.
Lindo che
I don't think Frank sounded this good when he was older
+David Peterson Heck no. Frank is my favorite, but you could a new level of deterioration in his voice every decade he recorded.
Legend of Legends along with Frank Sinatra
Aaaaaaaaaaaa ....
That's,,,That's 89 years old?
