For the life of me i don’t understand why these guys didn’t shoot right to the top. Music is so rich and haunting, it resonates with me like nothing else.
This had to be the best for a band in a beat up bus no bulls$&t just the road heading into a intimate show. When I saw them they didn’t have where u could be right there like no stage at the end
damn i hope these guys come to houston some day, they seem like good ol boys. hell i'd take em to my best fishing spot even. i know that might not mean alot to some but i would'nt even take my mom to that spot..... its a secret
@DJH1170 Had the same problem, it got rereleased (rerecorded too?) as "The Felice Brothers" black cover, white letters. Just got into these through their Bright Eyes connections. Absolutely ecstatic to be listening to them, and have found them. I thought the sound of Dylan's band years and the beautiful songs of "vegetables and death" were sealed to that singular moment in history of "the basement tapes", This is a beautiful unique revision of the sound and stories of "old weird America"
If I ever met someone who told me he didn't rate the Felice Brothers I would probably have to beat them with a large stick! I love these guys and can't wait until March 2012 so I can go see them in Glasgow!!
Update: AWW FUCK the bus did not work so we were not able to pic it up... but we saw em in Omaha and they were soo cool about it.. Next time... Love Live the Felice Brothers....
