LTT labs actually made a video about these psu although the one they made was the full modular one GM750 Segotep GM750 750W Power Supply - LABS Test Report that is the name of the video
Thank you for the information. My system power consumption though is nowhere near the 750 watts advertised. And I'd like to point out that I did consider making plenty of headroom for my system especially when it comes to less known models like this one to be safe.
I have slightly bumped my Ryzen 7 1700x clock a bit up to 3.8GHz and stock settings on everything. I would not recommend pushing this PSU especially when overclocking(I could not risk my build TBH)😀 I still have to consider though that there should be some cuts to compensate for the cheaper price you get out of this PSU. For light OC, I'll give it a try when I have time soon to record my actual game experience.
Bought a GM850 from the main seller of segotep in our country and after almost 2 weeks 1 of the capacitor pops and leaks a gray like paste, has rx 6900 xt and r5 5600x so it should have been more than enough to power the system, i guess i got unlucky
@@lelouchl.7833 That's too bad to hear. You're right, don't risk anymore. We do really need some technical people to overhaul this PSUs for better viewing of its components. Hopefully someone will make a video of it.
just saw your video and gave it a thumbs-up. how is the performance now for almost a year? I am quite interested as I saw someone selling this for a very enticing offer. I am considering buying this PSU for my build.
Hello. Thank you for sharing this. May I ask how is the PSU now? I am looking for a decent entry-mid tier psu and I am considering it as one of my options. It got some positive reviews in amazon as well.
Hi there! So far I haven't experienced any issues with exactly 5 months of use as of today 01.08.24. It's still working pretty well until now with average gaming every day of about 7 hours, I'm glad it didn't let me down. The issue with my previous PSU which my PC restarts without any messages or error codes at random times completely gone.

Highly unlikely, but have you overclocked with this PSU?, and if so was it a good experience.
And cool video.

In the stress test, the motherboard showed a minimum of 11.641 on the 12 Volt line.
I think it averages at around 11.772v under load. I wouldn't recommend stressing this psu though. Maybe for a slight overclock but that's it.
@@Nowie89 I have a BN750, it also drags everything along, only the fan is noisy and the duty squeaks in standby mode.

Solid performance bro. Haven't encountered any issues so far. I'd say wait for a sale to get big discount.

Hi! Currently, it is still working perfectly well.
Hello. Has several months of operation revealed any problems?

@@Nowie89Glad to hear that. I have the same problems with my PSU. The reason is failed electrolytic capacitors.
Probably due to age and heat. @@3uberMaN

Wow! That's a lot of years!@@3uberMaN
what capacitor they use in this psu?
That I can't tell 'cause it is still in use now and the time i made this video was when the psu is under warranty.

It does the job and it did eliminate my pc's random restart issue. So yeah, i can definitely say its good.
