“You are what you regularly do,” says Aristotle. Your habits not only help you function but form you into a type of person. God has designed us such that our habits cultivate character, shape our desires, and contribute to our daily functioning. But, predominantly, all we have thought about is the daily functioning aspect. We fail to pause and think: ‘what type of person are my habits shaping me into?' In other words, we have failed to think biblically about. In this series, Dr. Greg Gifford will explain the biblical role of habits in the Christian’s life. We will define habits, understand their effects, develop a rubric for prioritizing habits and end with practical tips for habit development. Join us as we learn to Thinking Biblically about Habits.
