I cried watching this video.. my son stopped nursing at around 8 and 1/2 months and I wasn't ready to stop at all.. I was devastated! It's very emotional. Sending love and hugs your way, sweet momma! ❤

Awwww I can totally relate to the feeling of when your baby weans and you aren’t ready! My son did this at 7months ! I tried to persist for one month and pumped also in the hopes he would want to continue but no chance :-( with my second I was able to do it for the full year ..she decided to stop the day after she turned ONE! It’s so emotional for us mummas..breaking that attachment to our babies. Your baby P is growing so fast and is so incredibly beautiful. Be proud mumma ! You are doing a terrific job !! 😘❤️

My son just weaned himself at 7 months 😢 he refuses to nurse and I kept pumping but my milk supply just tanked when he stopped breastfeeding so now I basically have nothing left. It’s so emotional, I feel guilty that I should have done more but in the end we all do what we can do and we should be proud of ourselves for giving our children everything we have! We are super moms!

I've been watching your videos for a while now (I think ever since you posted your house tour of the house you live in now) and it just keeps getting better every video! I'm only 17 so I can't really relate to a lot of the things you talk about, but I love watching anyway! It's making me that much more excited to be a mother later in life. I hope everything with Landon goes well, and I can't wait to see what theme you do for Presley's first birthday!

Your a amazing mom and that moment when you see your kids growing right before your eyes will give any mother a teary eye😢 because you don’t want them to let go so quick❤️ but you got to always remember your teaching your kids to be strong independent little ones and sooner then you know it both of them will be getting their own milk and food to eat for breakfast and it’s always because of you❤️ so congrats mama for being the best mom you can be to them👏👏 hope you enjoyed your mother’s day🌸

Awww, this made me cry, too. You’re in my thoughts- I have two older kiddos and my third is almost 10 months old. I dread the day that she is no longer interested in nursing- I love these quiet moments with just the two of us. The truth is I don’t think that you’re ever going to be able to say that you’re done having babies (at least, not me anyway!). I just wish they could stay little forever. Just know that you’re doing an amazing job and that the connection that you have with Presley as a result of your nursing is one that noody else will ever have. Hugs. ❤️

Momma! You are not a hot mess! Being a working momma of two littles AND weaning is hard! I'm actually right there with you. My second son is turning 1 on Tuesday and I know it's time to wean but it doesn't make it any easier. He also is refusing me and wants to be so busy that he can't sit down and nurse. I miss the sweet baby snuggles and the sleepy, relaxed baby face you get after nursing. We just have to forever cherish things amazing times with our babies. Hope you had an amazing Mother's Day! Stay strong sweetie!

It's these moments where I truly understand that saying about having your heart walk around outside of you. All those stages of letting go mean it's going to break a little each time! I still feel a pang when I think back on my nursing days with my last who is five now. We're gearing up for a preschool and first elementary school graduation at our house next week and let me tell you, I am right with how you are feeling. So many bittersweet moments come with this amazing job of being a mommy. I cherish everyday of it though, painful or not! Hang in there and hugs to you ❤️

Girl, I feel you with the food allergies. My breastfed 8 month old has severe eczema and allergies to tons of foods. Everything you listed plus apples, broccoli, spinach, chocolate, coffee, and chicken. Because he’s just breastfed yet, I have to eliminate those foods from my diet. I do a lot of batch cooking where I make a bunch of certain things and freeze them, which makes it a lot easier during the busy work week.

Thank you for sharing that moment with us, I’m sending you a big hug, you are an awesome mama 🌺🌹❤️

Landon looks so cute in his uniform!! I have 4 girls and only 1 boy, he is our oldest. He played baseball and football when he was little and I miss it so much!! I am the exact same way in scary situations, I am completely calm and take control, then when the crisis is over, I let myself actually freak out.
Bri, I know you're sad about P not nursing anymore, but it really is a good sign that she is developing nicely into a big self sufficient girl, and she is just at the right age to start whole milk.......I know it's bittersweet. You have done a fantastic job, keep your chin up Mama!

My 5 year old requests the car wash as well, too funny! Also wanted to mention I have a 14 year old with a life threatening allergy to tree nuts, she was diagnosed at 7. It’s hard, but you figure out what works and really do have to tailor a lot of food and eating out decisions around that. So worth it of course to keep our kiddos safe and healthy. I haven’t found any meal delivery services that are safe for her so our working family hack is Green Bean Organic grocery delivery. It at least saves me from running to the store so often because we have to have whole fruits and veggies for her since packaged and prepared foods are almost impossible. Good luck, it will definitely make you a more empathetic momma to other families dealing with food allergies especially as you get into school and activities with Landon you realize how much revolves around food and how tiring managing that can be.

I understand you 100% about the allergies. My son Eli has VERY severe allergies, where he will go into shock if he has eggs or peanuts. We went to the hospital with him as a baby for eggs, and have had to be very careful since. He is allergic to eggs, peanuts, wheat, milk, and dogs. the first two are most severe, and then the last 3 are less severe but its still hard sometimes! He also has always had bad eczema and it's a constant struggle to keep that under control. Def feel free to talk to me/ message me about it any time! :) I know it can be hard sometimes! I'm still trying to get used to his allergies, but I know you will do great with Landon with it bc you are an amazing mama!

My youngest is 4 and she’s allergic to: eggs, shellfish, dairy, wheat, soy, gluten, nuts, tree nuts. We carry Epi pens 24/7. We do little victory dances when we find products that agree with her and she doesn’t react. she just enjoyed her first chocolate rice candy bar (like a crunch bar) made by the brand “Enjoy Life” we bought from sprouts. I literally cried when she took her first bite, smiled big at us and said she loves it. ❤️ Hang in there momma. hang on to those small victories. They’ll give you hope and you’ll soon embrace the “allergy life”.

Hey Brianna, I never comment but being a mom of a child who is severely allergic to peanuts to the point that her tongue itches if she even smell peanuts and has to carry 2 epipens at ALL times. Just wanted to tell you that it will be ok. You guys will adjust and it will become a part of the normal routine. My daughter is 9 years old now and we found out about her allergy when she was 2. I was soooo nervous about her starting school and friends offering her snacks but she has always been such a smart child and will ask you does this have peanuts. Lol. She is allergic to other things as well but peanuts are the most severe. She also has mild eczema that is under control but I have eczema as well. I found that fragrance free soap, detergents and lotions are the best for our skin and keeping moisturized. Everyone is different tho. Everything will be ok and Landon will be ok!

Awww I definitely understand! When I started weaning my daughter back in Feb. I wasn't even thinking, this is my last child and I'll never do this again. Now I kind of miss it, but we had thrush so often it became really hard to appreciate the bonding experience 😔. Your babies are adorable and you got to experience it, I know that doesn't make it any better. But I hope you take comfort in knowing for a year you got to provide her with the nourishment she needed.

I remember this vividly with both my girls. My first was 13 months and coincidentally it was after a 3 night trip to Vegas when I came back she didn’t have any interest in her bedtime nursing. 😩 my youngest was 11.5 months and she just loved food so darn much she just wasn’t into being idle and nursing. Broke my heart with both of them- especially with my youngest because I knew that would definitely be the very last time I would ever nurse a baby. Hugs mama!!!!!

I hate for a child not to feel included. I’m sorry that breastfeeding has stopped with P. Yes! I liked hello fresh, but I found blue apron is more favorable to food alergens. It's a similar concept to hello fresh but they cater to your dietary needs. I've enjoyed them. For my gluten free needs I've basically gone vegan/vegetarian. & I love it, it's delicious. The only thing I'd check is the orange alergy, I think that one is harder to control

He was 4 weeks early and I have basically been feeling like due to preeclampsia that affected me and my recovery a lot this is probably my last baby and I have been struggling so much with feeling like my milk is not the right thing for him and it kills me so I can somewhat relate to maybe what you are going through. You did the best thing for so long for her

Hi Brianna I have the same problem with allergies and the lack of time and motivation sometimes 🙈 I just try to cook once a day and eat the leftovers the next day 💁 There are some pretty fast recepies if you get ready souces or precook and freeze them and just cook glutenfree pasta or rice 😊 Or just put vegetables and potatoes in the oven then you have time to do something else 😉 I imagine it is way harder with the pickiness of a todler but I‘m sure you will find a way 😘

New subscriber here, I am still nursing my toddler who’s 15 months now and I can so relate to you getting emotional I am crying because you’re crying we’re so emotional as moms and sometimes I feel like I’m forgetting that I’m probably still hormonal while breastfeeding right? I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♀️ But all cred to you for making it almost a year that’s awesome as well. Anyways, I love your videos already! You seem very authentic which I love 💕 Sending strength for your transition period with your little one!

Morning Bri ! My sister has celiac disease. So she has to be gluten free.. however they have sooo many gluten free foods now she made the transition easily and she feels great and is healthy. She’s only 13, and before we knew what was going on with her she had extreme stomach pain and constipation to the point to where she had to sleep with my Mom every night to get relief, and she dropped to like 85 pounds! But thank god she’s okay now, bc she’s doing great and there’s so many gluten free foods she actually doesn’t mind at all ! And now even most restaurants have the option as well. I hope Landon starts feeling better ! Loved the vlog, have a good day!

Landon looks so adorable in his ball uniform! I love it and he really is going good at it! My son started playing baseball at 4 and played until he was 18 yrs old! So get ready girl when the love of baseball hits there is no going back. Lol. We absolutely loved it when he played . We were always on the go but Enjoy every minute of it because they grow up fast! You and Adam are doing such a good job with those sweet babies! Thanks for sharing!

Awwww bri!!! I totally feel ya. My daughter stopped nursing at 5 months just as I was going back to work. I've been exclusively pumping since then but my supply has totally dwindled and I'm in denial that it's time to stop. All I can say is you're an amazing mom for keeping it going this long. But our baby girls know what they want 😉

Another video that made me weep like a little baby. Awwwwwww, I know exactly how you feel. I still nurse my 20 month old and I am holding onto it with everything I have because she is my last baby. I found out when I was pregnant with her that I had cervical cancer and had to have a radical hysterectomy leaving me unable to have anymore babies. Even though I have five kiddos, this hurt me so much. No words will soothe you, but I have a feeling that at least one more baby lies in your future, GOD WILLING! I also appreciate the raw footage, not everything is rainbows and unicorns. Not even for the amazing Brianna. Keep your chin up gorgeous for you are far too pretty to cry!

That’s so sad for you Bri! I didn’t even make it 2 months with breastfeeding because of a dairy sensitivity in my son... you did amazing to make it that far with the second baby! She’s taking the cows milk really well! My son hated it once he turned 1.

Amy's also has boxed mac and cheese that is gluten free that tastes good and they have a lot of other great options too. I personally have not tried any subscription boxes but i look forward to in the future. A few brands I have heard of are purple carrot and sun basket. If you look up gluten free version of hello fresh a few other sites pop up as well.

Weaning is so difficult!! I've been exclusively pumping for my son (he will be a year old on 5/26) and I decided to wean so that I would be done before I had to go on a business trip. I have been so emotional about it! I didn't think it would be this hard because I hated pumping (I wanted that bond with my baby in addition to the good stuff about breastmilk). I can imagine it's that much harder when you're direct nursing. Hugs mama

Breastfeeding is more than just providing nourishment to your baby. It is an indescribable bond that you have developed!!! I understand how you are feeling. My son is 10.5 months and I am not looking forward to he day he stops breastfeeding but I am looking forward to the day when I can stop pumping. I feel like unless you have breastfeed before you cannot understand what it truly means to breastfeed. Also, you must have been breastfeeding a lot to only have 1-2 periods during that time. My period came back at 6 months postpartum as soon as I stopped breastfeeding at night.

I’m not sure if you have an Aldi nearby, but they seem to have a lot of gluten free options there, and their prices are always lower than any other grocery store. They have a gluten free line, and I’ve seen snacks, baking mix, and pasta (and I’m sure they’ve got more). Just thought I’d pass that along! ❤️

I feel you on the food allergy. When my son (Grayson) just turned 1 we learned the hard way that he is allergic to peanuts. So peanut butter and all nuts. He is now 7 and we have had him tested to see if his levels went down but they haven’t. He is still very highly allergic and we’ve been carrying an epi pen. Never an easy thing to deal with with food allergies.

Wow I’ve been following you for a little while and never knew that your little guy has allergies! My son who is two as well has severe eczema and is allergic to eggs, wheat, and peanuts and it’s so hard! You feel so bad for him and wish he could just enjoy life and foods at events like all the other kids! I always have a hard time finding gluten free muffins and breads that are also egg free as well. Love that I have someone to relate to! 😊

My sister has allergies to lentils, soy, eggs, and strawberries. Her face used to swell up whenever she had those foods, or it would present as eczema. She’s 13 now and she had a couple of reactions were her whole throat swell up, she carries an epipen with her now! It’s really scary and I can totally understand what you’re going through.

My daughter had terrible eczema for the entire first year. Hearing about Landon’s situation really makes me wonder if hers was food related as well. She currently has a dairy allergy but it seems as though she’s still having issues so I’m thinking there may be another allergy affecting her that we haven’t figured out yet. Some days I find it tough trying to accommodate her dairy allergy so I cannot imagine trying to find foods that Landon is able to consume on a daily basis. Poor guy. I must say that I’m very curious to hear comments from others regarding food options & to see if pre packaged meals are out there for people with food allergies. Thanks for sharing! Ps. I cannot believe Presley is going to be 1 🙈
