For anyone wondering why Goku said "Kayoken" instead of kaioken, its because its reused audio from the older tenkaichi games
For a lot of games, this would be considered lazy, but here, it’s just a full face of nostalgia and I love it

The fact they showed the blue Kio-ken spirit bomb leads me to believe they're definitely teasing UI. Could potentially be a transformation you can only get with some sort of condition.
THAT'S WHAT I WAS THINKING! It could be an ultimate that transforms you on hit with low health.

Like how some games have perfect guard or parry option ironically this game has it too and that's vanish which requires you to focus and press circle at right time.

@@GlockSageRyu DBS Broly isn't much of a surprise if you think about it timeline-wise. Its been 5 years since the movie released (and Dokkan finally gave the man justice) so of course they'd release it for free.
Then again, this is a DBZ/anime fighter game, and in modern days even the things that feel like they should be free are locked behind dlc for that sweet profit.
The Roster is huge so far, hopefully they show new characters next trailer especially because we all know they'd add the god forms and whatnot.
I counted, and assuming the honeycomb is the character select screen, we'll have 180 characters. Possibly with more to come later.
Finally the return of the iconic goku line "...Im angry." Lets goooo!!

164 CHARACTERS HOLY HELL
Not much more than tenkaichi 3. I was hoping the gokus and vegetas only took one slot. I doubt we will have most of the characters from dragon ball or babidi or those characters. So they will free up some space. Movie characters might be dlc so maybe those aren't included. Which would give us a good amount of slots for the new characters from super

I know it was a long shot but I wish the character roster was a tiny bit bigger, but still this game is a 100% pre order for me.

If that at the end is the game's roster on release, we are getting 164 characters counting transformations. That alone is more than bt3, which had 161, counting transformations.so we are definitely not gonna be starved for characters even without dlc

It's possible the game is releasing in December. Walmart, Amazon, and Best Buy (not sure if it matters for BB since they are about to stop selling physical media, but I digress) already have pre-orders and possible dates. For a recent movie, I pre-order from Walmart, they got the item up before anyone (at least the ones I mentioned), and still do. Plus, they are most likely still working on the game and etc.
They usually just put December if they don't know the date but know the year. Fyi

I did the math, and on the end of the trailer ot shows 164 characters in total
It looks great don't get me wrong and I will be buying it but I'm not a fan of transformations being treated as separate characters on the select screen which they've confirmed cuz we got 24 characters from just these two alone. Now half of the character select screen is gonna be Goku, Vegeta and Gohan staring at you. Early, mid and end versions are fine but I would have preferred a drop down list like BT3 proper instead of each one being their own.
That's was the case in DBT3, don't really see why you guy's believed why it wouldn't be the case here too
@@jasonmagnes4467 No, that's not how it worked. Each ssj stage didn't take up a slot in DBT3. There was a goku (early), goku (mid), and goku (end). Each of which had their own respective transformation
@@hatezomm the thing we saw in the trailer was probably not the actual roster selection menu. I was refering to the op saying that transformation weren't treated as separate character. They won't be here neither. And btw, proof that what we saw wasn't the roster selection menu is that every slot character presented are displayed through IMAGES of previous trailer.
@@jasonmagnes4467 all forms of goku, vegeta, gohan etc were not seperate characters on the select screen outright. It was just their ages/eras. You did not see 5 different goku's when you went to the buu saga, it wasn't until you chose goku that you saw his bloat. THATS what I prefer and what I would want to see. I hope you're right about this not being the select screen but considering them saying "24 characters of sparking zero revealed" on offical bamco sites I am not gonna believe it until I see it. I just don't want to see 12 individual gokus and vegetas hogging slots when I go to select my character especially since we have super to pull from, so no matter what we're gonna be missing some characters. Just cuz "its always been like this in db games" doesn't mean I have to like seeing the same character take potential places an entirely different one could be

That kaioken Goku is just Goku mid doing the Kamehameha kaiohken X20. They just used portraits with kaioh ken to differentiate early and mid Goku from end and super goku

Something to point out, I think that section where it says "Rivals make you stronger" and it flashes through their different forms is showing different versions of the characters and their transformations. First its clearly saiyan sage, then goku goes kaioken and vegeta has no shoulder pads, then super saiyan. Next they're base again, go ssj1, ssj2, then goku is ssj3 and vegeta is majin. Finally they're base, then ssj1, then ssg, then ssb. So I'm guessing the different versions are gonna be something like early Z, end of Z, super, and maybe another for UI and UE (hopefully)
The website confirmed we are getting 4 different Goku and Vegeta. Goku (early), Goku (mid, with super Saiyan), Goku (end, with ssj 1, 2 and 3) and Goku (Super, with ssj, god and blue), and Vegeta (scouter, with great ape) Vegeta (early, super Saiyan, super Vegeta), Vegeta (end, ssj1, ssj2, Majin Vegeta) and Vegeta (super, with ssj, god and blue)
I'm pretty sure when goku goes into SSGSS kaioken, his using the spirit bomb he did against Jiren in the ToP

I’m so excited but as you see at the end where all the character icons are I really hope that each transformation does not take a character slot as it shows on the screen because if so that’s gonna be really bad for the game and limit the cast of characters
Actually it doesn't because ive counted the amount of characters including transformations and it 164 three more than BT3. Lets not forget BT3 had a lot of wasted slots as well.
