- For our 100th episode Chris sits down with legendary visionary artists, Alex & Allyson Grey!
Together they recount the founding of Chapel of Sacred Mirrors and creation of Entheon, both a museum and sanctuary of visionary art. They expand upon the mission of CoSM and the importance of what it offers to the community as social sculpture, merging spirituality with business, what each is expressing through their creative work, the trinities of “mind, body, spirit” relating to “chaos, order & secret writing”, interdimensional philosophy and much more!
About the Artists:
Alex Grey is best known for his depictions of the body that provide a multi-dimensional “x-ray” of anatomical, psychic and spiritual forces. For many people his visionary art presents icons of the psychedelic mystical experience.
Allyson Grey: Painter, Social Sculptor, Muse...
For forty years, Allyson has expressed in her paintings an essentialized world view consisting of three root components: CHAOS, ORDER, & SECRET WRITING.
Alex Grey & Allyson Grey are co-founders & Ministers of CoSM. CoSM is a place of contemplation & worship for community honoring the practice of art as a spiritual path.

@@kostonskater19 big thanks! A labour of love!!
Thank you for this peak into Entheon and the purpose of Social Sculpture in creating a more visionary world. It was a revelation to me to finally put together the purpose of the first round building that was seen as a model for the Sacred Mirrors collection. I had no idea, as I believed it was replaced by the present building still being built.
Now I get it! Such a relief to see the greater purpose and how indeed the shows can expand and include a still greater array of offerings. Blessings and love for this spectacular offering to our Beloved Gaia and emerging Planetary Civilization. ❤🎉❤
@@Dreamaster2012 big thanks for watching Erial! I believe they still intend to build the round building for the sacred mirrors.
Happy you enjoyed this one!

Wow!! What a great episode! Listening to these 2 great artists Alex and Allyson Grey, was incredibly inspiring. I love their work! A great message, be yourself!
It took me a long time to be comfortable with myself. I can only hope to inspire and empower young creatives the way these two do!
Much love!🫶🌻🌈

There are so many timestamps I have in my notes for this wonderful 100th episode! Congratulations on that, by the way! I know you--and now Paulina too--put your heart and soul into producing these episodes week in and week out. I was waiting on this installment to finally hit youtube and the first note I'll make is I just love your excitement embarking on your first question at 10:10!
I enjoy hearing Alex speak at 49:22 about his dedication to making angels within his art. Personally, I was able to take in the conversation much better around 50:11 by turning on Closed Captioning to fully understand the vocabulary and terms used during the discussion of Alex Grey's The Great Turn.
My interest was definitely piqued around 1:13:08 when Alex begins discussing consciousness on the whole and most certainly the mentioning of how Alex read about one of the first documented Near Death Experience (NDE) did catch my attention at 1:15:42.
Alex's thoughts shared at 1:26:37 were scintillating in response your question, Chris, "What do you guys consider God to be?" I just love to hear him articulate his grasp on the subject.
When Chris asked Allyson about what the secret writing of her art means at 1:08:41 I was so curious to hear her response!
I can really get with the vision Allyson speaks on at 21:35 about Entheon being a beacon and can only imagine what it will be like to see one day the building wrapped in sculpture as she mentions at 18:15. It will be a build of the ages from this era of great minds such as Alex and Allyson Grey!
I truly agree from personal experience with what Allyson mentions at 24:15 about how, "...a church belongs to a community, not to the people who founded it..." I very much enjoy the verbally related imagery Alex speaks about at 26:29 on a sacred narrative he's noticed, "woven into the temple," of other places of worship they've visited.
All in all, I feel Alex nails down an important point about creation and appreciation of art at its core about the, "context from which art comes," early in the interview at 22:05.
I noticed it had been mentioned once in the comments below about the echo that may be noticed regarding the sound of this episode. Personally, it is the message that matters most to someone like me. The fact that Chris and Paulina have successfully documented an intimate interview with artists of such caliber as Alex and Allyson Grey is an astounding file for art history of this era. I choose to interpret any echo here as an allegory to how very impactful these 3 artists are sharing space in such this epic place that has been built for ages upon ages after us to enjoy. Perhaps their words are ringing out into infinity. 😊But also, if the echo is an extra auditory input and too much for any viewer's easier listening out there, I suggest changing the playback setting to a speed of 1.5, which seems to eliminate the echo/reverberation pretty efficiently after the Chris Dyer's intro.
Blessings Chris, Paulina, Alex and Allyson.
@@OnEarthToAchieveLove Hi Coleen!
Such a nice and complete comment! Thanks 🙏
Happy you appreciate the efforts of Paulina and me into this series. Sometimes it get exhausting but the appreciation of the community keeps us going!
Thanks for all the reflections on what what talked here! And suggestions on the audio.

I’m sad, I don’t think I’ve ever had the opportunity to see a hand painted billboard. That sounds awesome.

Great insights as always , thank you for all the great work
@@hazelmandala2926 thanks for watching the show Hazel!
Amazing episode 100❤ I loved how I was getting a motherly sense from Allyson of being this very "matter of fact" mother figure. And that is not me, but I admire it. And then she mentioned people's perception of her could be a grandma or a witch; perhaps she is a little of both. I'm sure I was burned 🔥 or would have been😂. Speaking on sacrifice was so awakening because we could apply it to our own lives. We all struggle (or experience the illusion that is struggle) but to view it as an act of service or a passion takes it to a new level of willpower to do the work. When Alex spoke it's like I could feel my heart warming up. Such an amazing couple. Many blessings to yourself and them for an abundant future. You/we are all or have the potential to be beautiful humans🪷

CONGRATS Chris!!! GREAT Interview, audio unfortunately is very echoey...I'll see if I can correct??? GOD ETERNAL WITHIN THE BODY 🙏🌟🕉♾️🕉🌟🙏
Room acoustics, square walls. Still a treasure of an interview IMO. Glad you enjoyed the content of it too.
The acoustics of the large space certainly presented a unique challenge.
Given the technology and software available to us, pushing it any farther would have left everyone sounding like creepy robots 🤖
I'm sorry if this prevents the beauty of the messages from reaching anyone.
this is beautiful

The audio is terrible.
@@aaronkirkland212 big rooms are tricky for echoing . I don’t roll with giant mikes unfortunately.
It leaves room for improvement, but the content is worth the minor inconvenience IMO. Give it a chance, I think you will like the interview.
It's not the preferred audio sound, but resonance happens in real life when you're in large rooms.
No, it's not the "standard" sound quality we have come to expect from a podcast.
Yes, this was the best technology could provide us and the messages are still incredibly potent 🫶🏼
Sorry if that got lost to you or anyone else 🌼🙏🏼
Allyson is off on the entity discussion imo.
