    Super impressed with how you go about making this. You definitely know your stuff when it comes to using fusion 360.

    Instead of creating a circle on a second plane to create the second loft point, you can just offset the base plane by 125mm and project the centre point to the new plane. You can then proceed to loft the triangle to the point

    When I go back to try to change the dimensions (like a 3:11 in the video), that measurement line isn't there? Any ideas?

      NVM, I figured it out. I didn't see you click 'edit sketch', but I right clicked in the timeline and then I was able to change the dimensions. Thanks.

      If you right click the sketch in the browser you can select "Show Dimensions" and directly edit dimensions outside of sketch edit.
      Or have a look in "User Parameters" and you will find all dimensions. :)

    I just followed all your instructions and realized you can actually skip the help line from 0:58, and just draw your circle from the top of your triangle to any of the other two points of the triangle, since that's the same length as the line you were creating to then make it equal. It will snap and the circle will follow the size of the triangle if you modify it at the end.

      With a geometric problem like this there is often simplifications that can be done.

    When I attempt to dimension the horizontal line, Fusion tells me the sketch is over constrained. I don't understand what I did differently that you...

      Check that there is no dimensions in the sketch. The polygon command puts in a dimension if you by mistake hit the keyboard will crating the first triangle.

    Great video! One question though, at 2:21, what is the purpose of "Project"?

    • @KristianLaholm
      @KristianLaholm  3 года назад +3

      I use project to transfer measurements from sketch to sketch, there is the possibility to auto project but it confuses me :)
      The design intent in this videos is to only have one dimension drive the model.

    • @stephanekiss
      @stephanekiss 2 года назад

      @@KristianLaholm I did notice that if you don't do "project", when you draw the circle it won't snap to the points, it will try to go to the nearest grid point which is not what you want.

    • @KristianLaholm
      @KristianLaholm  2 года назад

      @@stephanekiss I recommend to turn of snap to grid, it can give you some strange problems.

    HOW CAN I CHANGE THE VALUE OF THE LINES AFTER CREATING THEM PLEASE

    • @KristianLaholm
      @KristianLaholm  Год назад

      Value of the lines? If you want to change the size of the polygon edit the dimension in the sketch, Edit Sketch or use Change Parameters.
