@@jollybodger they got chased out of the area and the woman who called people to come to chase them called it a "Hick town". Proper hill billy's. Somewhere southern but can't remember which state exactly.
@@The_hungry_tourist Not sure if it's the same one, but I remember them being chased out of town for having homosexual references on one of the cars, I think it was Clarkson's, but not 100%
"Now don't come through the screen and punch me in the face..." Ironic choice of words, considering how Jeremy was fired from Top Gear after punching a producer in the face!
Personally I think Clarkson's a National Treasure, Top Gear while he was there was the best show in the woooorld. He pisses a lot of people off though but can anyone who punches Piers Morgan be bad, in my opinion no.
In relation to Top Gear, my late uncle was actually in a big segment during the shows early days. He was a chauffeur so they had a segment with him displaying defensive manouvers. He actually had an offer from someone really famous to be their personal driver in the US. He kinda said fuck that, came home and got his HGV licence and drove lorries unil his passing.
Top Gear is hilarious!! Well when these three were on the show. They had specials and challenges that resulted in some pretty funny scenes. Definitely check out some clips of Top Gear .
Clarkson is one of my all time favourite celebrities. I feel like I say that a lot lately, but I actually like the guy, which is saying a lot for people I see on the TV
You should watch the race in which Jeremy drove a Bugatti Veyron across Europe whilst May and Hammond were in an aeroplane, a train and a bus. It's fabulous
Jezza is a commonly used nickname for Jeremy, so Clarkson would probably be used to hearing it from friends and family all his life. It's a common form of nickname in the UK, like Dazza for Darren, Gazza for Gary, Bazza for Barry, Lozza for Laurence, and Shazza for Sharon.
Always loved the calling the horse Tesco scene. The reason behind it was because of a horse meat scandal where it was found in the burgers of a popular meat company and tescos was one of the supermarkets that was hit by it.
Oh bro..... why was I not born to be as happy as you? I would give anything to laugh as much as you, and be as funny as you.... your lovely southern accent has grown on me, and I love it. I am in the UK, where very few people laugh as much as you!!
Have you seen the Michael MacIntyre stand up clip about how Americans have to change the name of everything to make it obvious how it's used. In the UK we just say Horse Riding, you Americans have to point out where you need to sit on it 😂🤣😂. Definitely worth checking out.
BBC iPlayer has every episode of Top Gear on it (including specials like Vietnam, Argentina, North Pole and 3 Wise Men). If you're outside the UK you'll need a VPN.
As everyone has said there were a number of specials made, Bolivia was quite a dramatic one ! Part of the spectacle is that Jeremy is always playing pranks on Richard and James.. but in the end he gets bitten in the arse by karma 😂
Here's an old joke for you to enjoy which surprisingly enough is even older than all of these clips considering that all three of these nonentities left Top Gear in 2015. Amy Winehouse meets Jeremy Clarkson for the first time and she says to him, " I've never heard of you so what are you famous for? " He replies, " Top Gear! " She gets all excited and says, " Oh, that's great, so can you score me some 'smack' because my usual dealer's just been arrested? ".
UK - Horse Riding... USA - horse back riding why the need for the extra descriptive info in the name??? at some point in history did an American ask, where do i sit?
Jeremy Clarkson started his journalism career at the Rotherham Advertiser which is a local weekly newspaper, he grew up in the neighbouring town of Doncaster. Fellow top gear and grand tour presenter James May actually spent his teenage years in Rotherham as well.
Hang on! Where's all that UK merchandise people sent? Even the Queen is kept in the closet! ? Where's that "UK theme tattoo" actually gonna go? Somewhere that can't be seen? 🤔 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Top Gear with Clarkson, May & Hammond was always hilarious. The specials where they would do challenges were compulsive viewing but most of the episodes were usually funny. It went a bit flat once they all left but it’s quite good again now.
makes sure its Top Gear BEFORE 2015 (yep, its been SIX years since Food-Gate), as that's when Jeremy Clarkson's contract wasn't renewed due to him punching a producer. Richard Hammond & James May never renewed their contracts a few months later and all three went to Amazon to do the Grand Tour
The top gear U.S.A race special from Miami to New Orleans is quite funny. They managed to upset a few of the locals, I think their special programs are the best like, race to North pole The Bolivia special and so on.
That double mini roundabout on this shot is in a place called Chipping Norton, part of the cotswolds.... not far from his farm 'Diddly Squat'. Know this as I lived just down the road.
You have to watch Clarkson's farm on prime. It's hilarious. Tesco refers to the meat scandal a few years back when horse meat was found in products that were supposed to have beef in.
Yeah the best Top Gear shows we're the ones where they went on tours of different countries doing crazy challenges! Like in the states, Burma, etc 👍🇬🇧♥️
Hi, When Jeremy Clarkson was doing Top Gear (Its a car show on TV in the UK) He said "Nobody can get at my money as its safe in the bank." They were arguing about it on the show. Two weeks later somebody took some of his money to prove a point. The point was nobodys money is safe in the bank. He looked so embarrassed being made by the other two presenters to tell the Top Gear audience his money was taken. Stay safe from Covid-19 to you and your loved ones.
Jezza wasn’t “on” Top Gear he “was” Top Gear. Some of the funniest television ever. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 React to the time they raced ambulances…the end of the race had me on the floor doubled over in fits of laughter…I couldn’t breathe. 😂😂😂😂
The Tesco reference to the horse was made because not long before that it was revealed that Tesco burgers had horse meat in them du to being made in a factory in France that also made burgers for the French market where horse meat is widely eaten. Hence why that reference was witty at the time. The Daily mail reference (Pervert camera) is made because the daily mail is considered a dirty and sleazy newspaper in the UK. And they will often do what they can to create a scandal even if one does not exist. It's often joked that shop keepers will wrap the paper in a brown paper bag to hide you from the embarrassment of carrying the paper home.
Top gear and the grand tour (Jeremy, Richard and James new show together) are my favourites. you should definitely watch the special episodes, you’ll find them hilarious. Sending love from Leicester UK x
These were a mix of the Top Gear specials and the Grand Tour which they went on to do for Amazon. The one where James May is getting soaked from water in the back is a Grand Tour special where they decided to try and transport fish across a very poor part of Africa, James decided to keep the fish alive in a tank in the back, to the comedic results you get a taste of in that video. I love Top Gear & The Grand Tour but if you've never watched them then just look for the specials, it's less about the cars and more just those 3 messing about and it's hilarious.
In your own time look into the Top Gear Specials, where for an hour and a half the three of them drive from one side of a country to the other... always worth a watch. I'd recommend, Vietnam special, USA special, Africa special, Botswana special and the middle East special. Amongst others, all very funny and informative.😀🇬🇧
They are now on Amazon Prime with a snow called The Grand Tour, which is almost the same as Top Gear. SPREAD 💘 & keep up the excellent work we all love your vids in Wales UK
