This reminds me of when I was a kid my parents would walk us through our new neighborhood where there were still tons of new homes under construction, we would go inside the partially completed homes and look at all the finishes and customization the owners did to their new home. We would all get so excited when the door would be unlocked and we could go inside. I guess it was meant for me to become a real estate agent ;-)
it's about proximity to atl. all around metro atl housing is overpriced. if you go 2 counties out, further from the city, you find extremely reasonable prices in comparison.
Excalty how anyone can afford a house like this one 400k to 500k I go bankrupt before I lived in it I only get a single income I only get 1300 a month that all forms social security benefits
I currently live just down the street from where you were. Very tough market in this area though. Lots of people looking in the low to high 200's but there just isn't any inventory in that range in this area.

@@koyanc3 -- I'm kinda agree with you on that. The house styles in that area just don't do much for me. Big square box's. Homes should have some sort of style to them in my opinion. I just can't see myself paying that much money for a square box and the land lot's are just way to small for me. I need more room than their offering there. But, if someone likes or wants to live there then who am I to say otherwise. Just isn't for me I guess.

Builders only care about Mexican labor that can slap drywall up in 2 Days and have a house built in 2 weeks, they could give a rats ass what happens to it after its been sold to some unsuspecting first time home buyer
Yup, this same style of home was only $250k just a few years ago. there's not much in conyers to really justify it being half a million for a 2-story, not even in a gated community or privacy yards.

Under $300k. Check the builder Starlight Homes (the locations will be further out). Overall, you'll have to move further out to pay less or get less pace like townhome. It can be a nice townhome though.
@@ClevelandSmith_ If you dont know what your looking at you will be fooled by anything. When you looking at those homes take someone with you that knows quality work. They only target certain communities cause they know they can take advantage. Their business is also predatory. Look at the google reviews.
@@frankariviere6265 For starters, taxes are way too high for the mediocre school system and poor services. Crime is rising due to an inept sheriff’s Dept. Infrastructure hasn’t kept up with the growth so roads are super crowded. There are good parts of Rockdale County and bad parts though. If you’re planning to move here do your research. I would suggest looking elsewhere though.
@JenB Henry County is great as well especially if you move in the union grove or Ola school districts. You get a great deal of land and sq feet for your money.
You'll find that in most communities. The builder has a handful of floor plans and they'll have slight variations. It rare that I find a community that every house looks different.

Me, and my wife plan on moving out there. The homes are great, with a a lot of land.
I love Conyers but I've notice that alot of the houses are now over priced and there is not a lot in that area for the prices to be that high

I've been in the conyers area since the late 90's...it's waaay to crowded. All that traffic on 2 lane Salem Rd is ridiculous....nice home though

Yep can't hardly ever get onto 138 from old Salem Rd in the morning. Traffic on 138 is always bad. Makes you not even wanna leave the house tbh
