My old man had a ‘89 F350 drop shipped to Centurion for their handy work. If memory serves he paid ~$25-26k for that truck and it was decked out. Came across a ‘96 a few weeks ago that has only 33k miles on the clock.
be glad you found that before I did , they built us a cab and chassis version of that truck , same cab config and options , just a grey interior , and blue primary exterior , we built a rollback out of it for long distance car show trips , and long distance transports , a Schneider semi driven by a fellow I could not understand decided he needed to wedge it between a concrete wall and his truck totaling it about 5 years ago , I want to rebuild that truck , it was sometimes not so fun to drive being the 21 foot deck plus that long cab , but it rode like a dream , and it sure got attention... good find take care of that truck , that was really that last "REAL" truck ford built , I have this thing about a truck , a real truck has vent wings/windows , last truck to have that if you think about it ...

Not even 10 minutes away from me,some older guy has one of these just sitting in his drive way,it even has the same exact paint job as this one,except it has orange stripes on the sides.It's just dirty and been exposed to the outside for a long time,you can barley start to see some rust on the roof,and it has a hole and scratches on the driver side dually fender.It's been parked in that same spot for 10 years,hell maybe even 15 years,next to a boat in front of his house,and one of the tires is flat too.But I still remember a decade or more back then when it actually was used,he drove it around some times and I haven't forgot how healthy that 7.3L sounded like.I seriously want it,but he will not sell it for shit,it's just there,and being nothing more.
No way the beautiful truck was driven through Michigan winters. From the video it looks very clean. I’m from Mi and our salty roads will eat your truck up before it’s even paid for. Hence the reason my F150 sits in storage for the winter. Road salt is the devil.
Get some cans of bedliner and coat your undercarriage in it every 2 years. My 2006 Silverado still is rust free and it's been through every Michigan winter. That and really clean it every winter day we have over 50 (another weird Michigan thing, -10 one day then 55 the next lol)
Bailey O. Fluid film is what I use on my vehicles I have to drive in the winter. I coat the underneath every fall. That stuff that sets up holds moisture and will rot without you even knowing.
Miss ours when I was a kid. That was right when Van's were struggling to drill be relevant and we wound up trading the truck for a chateua packaged e250 shorty with thag same bench in the back.
Man I had a 97 just like that but not the extra extended cab centurion. Just a 4 door crew cab dually. Had the same wheels and they look really good. Also had the wood trim on the interior and a visor over the windshield. No overhead console. Big center console, orbig seats. Just regular cloth

I have a 97 f350 7.3 crew cab centurion with the fold out bed, heat and colded cup holder, tv and vcr, cb radio, radar detection, front lund visor and a rear spoiler on the cab, power rear slider, light up grab bars on the outside and interior grab handles, but one is missing. The previous owner removed the wood around the cab, would you guys ever think about offering parts for centurion trucks if demand was there. I know alot of guys on the forms are looking for parts and pieces. Thanks
I’ve got a 1996 F150 4x4 Centurion Crew Cab short box with a 5.8. I love the crew cab but didn’t need a 3/4 or 1 ton rig. It’s a work truck but if I get money that I don’t want to spend on anything else, I’ll get it repainted.
Great video and awesome truck. Completely jealous. Only suggestion is maybe a little less on the swivel button on the camera when filming, it's a little distracting it moving around so much.
For real throw back. Neighbor growing up had the centurion f150 crew cab conversion, never realized it was a conversion. It was all stock looking, he ended up giving it to his son for his first truck and he totaled it. I did forget ford used this body style until what 99, along side the all new at the time 97 f150. If I remember right, they also had a sweet 4 door bronco conversion.

There's Dentside Centurion Four Door Broncos. But there's a lot of 3rd gen vans as well. Hard to say the company kept crap records and what there was burned in a fire. IIRC Audra owner of the Four Door Bronco forum has an some info from an talk with the old owner of Centurion where they talked numbers. By far the most talk was about the Broncos but I think he also indicated it was their biggest mover. FWIW I own a rather infamous C350, used to belong to Daryl Hannah.
2:45 Started late 70s, 78 I think. There's Centurion dentside 4 Door Broncos. I've been on the hunt for one of those for a while, I do wish they made them earlier though. They only ever did them with powerstrokes. I have a C350 with a 7.3 IDI, I'd like an extended crew to go with it. I might have to make it but if I do, I'll just make it 6 door. FWIW I think the biggest reason Centurion started making these is that they started making the 4 door Broncos out of extended cab trucks. So they had a lot of extra cab pieces and frame chunks left over, so ehhh why not.

Centurion trucks were pretty, i remember a guy i knew who got one and turned it into a work truck, but a nice clean one!

Pulling the camper it came with it got about 7mpg at 75mph so roughly 1K miles between fillups loaded
