be glad you found that before I did , they built us a cab and chassis version of that truck , same cab config and options , just a grey interior , and blue primary exterior , we built a rollback out of it for long distance car show trips , and long distance transports , a Schneider semi driven by a fellow I could not understand decided he needed to wedge it between a concrete wall and his truck totaling it about 5 years ago , I want to rebuild that truck , it was sometimes not so fun to drive being the 21 foot deck plus that long cab , but it rode like a dream , and it sure got attention... good find take care of that truck , that was really that last "REAL" truck ford built , I have this thing about a truck , a real truck has vent wings/windows , last truck to have that if you think about it ...

Not even 10 minutes away from me,some older guy has one of these just sitting in his drive way,it even has the same exact paint job as this one, except it has orange stripes on the sides. It's just dirty and been exposed to the outside for a long time, you can barley start to see some rust on the roof, and it has a hole and scratches on the driver side dually fender. It's been parked in that same spot for 10 years, hell maybe even 15 years, next to a boat in front of his house, and one of the tires is flat too.But I still remember a decade or more back then when it actually was used,he drove it around some times and I haven't forgot how healthy that 7.3L sounded like.I seriously want it,but he will not sell it for shit,it's just there, and being nothing more.

@@CompletePerformance Ehh, maybe, I figured that might come up when I said that. However the earliest vehicles I'm aware of they built are Four Door Broncos. There's Dentside Centurion Four Door Broncos. But there's a lot of 3rd gen vans as well. Hard to say the company kept crap records and what there was burned in a fire. IIRC Audra owner of the Four Door Bronco forum has an some info from an talk with the old owner of Centurion where they talked numbers. By far the most talk was about the Broncos but I think he also indicated it was their biggest mover.
FWIW I own a rather infamous C350, used to belong to Daryl Hannah.

Oh, and as long as the VCR is blinking 12:00, you're good to go. 👍

I had a 1996 that has everything that truck does except the extended crew cab. I just had the crew cab. I just wish they put 4x4 in those years.

    2:45 Started late 70s, 78 I think. There's Centurion dentside 4 Door Broncos.
I've been on the hunt for one of those for a while, I do wish they made them earlier though. They only ever did them with powerstrokes. I have a C350 with a 7.3 IDI, I'd like an extended crew to go with it. I might have to make it but if I do, I'll just make it 6 door.
FWIW I think the biggest reason Centurion started making these is that they started making the 4 door Broncos out of extended cab trucks. So they had a lot of extra cab pieces and frame chunks left over, so ehhh why not.

So how much did they pay new for it? Be interesting to compare a top of the line price tag for to days f350 vs 97 f350

That fuel tank is crazy. What kind of distance can that thing travel with both its tanks full? Don't average gas stations have a max amount you can fuel up at one time?

Pulling the camper it came with it got about 7mpg at 75mph so roughly 1K miles between fillups loaded

Awsome truck. But I do have a question. If it only seats 5 then why is there a 3rd row of seat belts in the very back?
