I don't think with Excel it is possible to refresh the BI Automatically.. You would need a Database and Direct query the database to reflect live data.
In Power BI Desktop, please check if you disable "Include in report refresh" option in query editor. If the option is disabled, report in Power BI Desktop will not updated.

You need to have a on prem data gateway and then schedule refresh in Power BI Service.

Bro, after i publish the dashboard in power bi service, if i update data it not reflecting there.
You will have to republish the report or setup a gateway to refresh automatically.

Yes correct. It will overwrite. If you need another report to be published you need to change the name of the file.
