Do the screws through the subfloor framing into the van protrude outside? I've read a load of guides and a lot say to avoid drilling / screwing through because it exposes the metal to rust. Good catch on the foil tape, you sealing it all off but then screwed the subfloor wood down into it anyway, breaking the barrier?

very nice guys. It's best to remove your rings when working with tools though, or wear gloves. All the best.
Never wear gloves with spinning tools
