This was probably one of my favorite scenes in the whole musical. The changing up of props to "create" different vehicles using flood lamps, trolleys, and motorcycle handlebars. The whole scene was so well organized and executed, and the song on top of it made it perfect.
this is such a huge portion of the book that isn't a huge part of the main story, but they STILL found a way to include all the things they could, in this one song. genius.

I haven't read the original books (I'm so lame, I know) to understand all of the easter jokes and inside jokes. Hell, I just started listening to the album and I don't know if I completely follow the plot yet either. I haven't read the original books (I'm so lame, I know) to understand all of the easter jokes and inside jokes. Hell, I just started listening to the album and I don't know if I completely follow the plot yet either. But I just want to say how this song, especially the lyrics "Drive/Just Drive/Stay ahead, stay ahead/Just Drive" is really helping me cope with depression. I keep on repeating this song over and over again. Thank you so much Rob Rokicki and cast of The Lightning Thief. I hope to see this show in person one day.

Okay but like,, I see people calling Jeremy a 'Jerk' when technically wasn't his fault. It was the original 'villain' of the Be More Chill musical, THE SQUIP, Michael may have had his anxiety attack and moment in the bathroom but doesn't Jeremy have that problem too? He's been pushed away more than Michael, at least in the play, maybe the book shows more Michael and more background towards getting bullied but anyways, like I said, he's not the antagonist of the show, the Squip is. (DONT GET ME WRONG I LOVE MICHAEL BUT JEREMY IS EQUALLY AMAZING)
