Everyone can’t spend the same, our income and lifestyle are different. 💕
Nobody should dictate how you spend your money oh. If you have it, spend it and if you don't have as much, manage the one you have.
Sometimes here, you'll just have 20 euros to buy few items in the shop and you see an Oyibo spending over 100 euros on his dog or cat.

People feel they can tell others how to live their lives as if they were in their shoes..We are also a family of 6 and we spend 1300 euros monthly just for children expenses and food inclusive. You nailed it by advising not to have kid if you don't have a stream of income. Kids come with a lot of expenses. I love your personality just keep being you .

Nelo, in case you decide to listen to your darling adviser and cut back on budget, just send the cut out to me. 200k for a fam of 7 isn't not much, things aren't smiling in the market but like you rightly stated, families spend base on 'ability'. A neighbour friend once said she thinks I spend much on monthly basis meanwhile, my friend thinks I economize and she always gives me accolades for it me ☺️... Wow food is cheap in Nigeria 😯 I’m from Mauritius and in my family of 4 adults we spend a little bit more than 900 dollars per month excluding restaurant meals and takeouts.
Thats like telling someone that earns 1m monthly to have the same budget as someone that earns 30k simply because the person earning 30k is somehow "surviving". You think the person earning the 30k is happy they have to go without so many things.
Abeg people should learn to mind their business , from what you have shown in your budget its not like you are eating caviar or elephant head that we will call you extravagant .
Especially when you want eat healthy na that one expensive pass.

If you have kids its so expensive my dear, and sometimes here in UK that they are changing the some products in the shops and when you buy kids they will not even eat it, they will say its not the same, am like kids they don't understand, what they want to eat is what they want, surely God will help us

Things are really expensive in Nigeria. Cost of living is just so high, we are just a family of two: my husband and I and we have a budget of 60k for feeding which we even end up spending more than the budget some times how much more a family of 7!
Like after the breakdown everything is actually valid .. and my parents gave me a life like this 😩😩😩 all 6 of us .. lord father how did they do it ..whatttttttt 😩😩 raising a family is not easy .. Jehovah .. like we haven’t even put school fees yet

Hmm, Ndi madu self. I know people whose monthly expenses is like $9k and they are fine with it. Someone will still come and tell me that I spend too much in a month when mine is not even that amount yet. As the fingers are not equal so is our finances not equal as well. He who works should be able to eat according to their income.
