  • This 72 year old homeless man said that his brother had killed five of his family members, including their own parents. He also expressed a lot of anger about how other parts of his life hadn't gone as planned, and how many people had mistreated him. This is both a beautiful and tragic conversation. Hope you emjoy!

    My Testimony:
I grew up in church, but instead of knowing Jesus, I only knew religion. This led me to live a very hypocritical lifestyle. By the time I was in college, from the outside looking in, it seemed like I had everything together in my life. I was in the military, getting paid to go to college. I had plans to become a financial planner and expected to make a six figure income shortly after completing my degree. I had joined a fraternity and had access to all the alcohol, drugs and girls that I desired. In spite of all of that, on the inside I was broken, depressed, and empty as I searched through the world for something to satisfy my void.
I radically encountered God in a rock bottom moment and everything in my life changed from the inside-out. Instead of pursuing my own life plans, God rerouted my life into full-time ministry. After joining a local church, I began to voluntarily serve for several years. Over time that led into a church staff position opening up for me. As a result I’ve had the opportunity to wear many hats including: administration, overseeing media, sound, & lights, leading worship, preaching, leading outreach ministry, and many other tasks that have arisen with ministry. While being faithful with the small, the Lord started to open doors for me to preach and equip the saints at other churches as well.
God has expanded His reach through the ministry to include not only many different states in the U.S., but also several different nations. Via in person encounters and social media platforms including RUclips, Facebook, and Instagram, we're reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God has given me a beautiful wife named Abigail, and blessed us with two lovely children named Nora and Will. Abigail is currently on staff at our church as the Worship Pastor. Our hearts desire is to love God, love others, and walk as Jesus walked.

I once saw a homeless person at a 7/11 and I started talking to him. I asked him if he believed in God and he said yes and he straight up asked me if I can cast out demons. Unfortunately, I got nervous cause even though Ive had demons cast out of me, Ive never had experience with casting them out of others. And I told him I was sorry, but Ive never done that before but I asked if I could still pray for him and he said yes. So I prayed for him that God would rescue him from his situation and that he would eventually find deliverance. I regret not stepping out in faith for this person. But Im very glad that you have the boldness to do this for others. Keep it up, its inspiring me to do the same!

Not always do you want to cast demons out of someone unless you know they're repenting truly and want to follow Jesus and do His will. They must be let known they have to pick up that cross and follow Him, they must count the cost.. if not you could bring more demons worse than the 1st!

@@firebird14420 Jesus cast demons out of people without making them repent or be baptized or anything else. They did not have to do anything to deserve getting demons cast out. The admonishment about the demon returning with others is about what the person does AFTER the demon is cast out. You don’t just cast the demon out and then leave. You can stay and talk with the person afterwards and explain the gospel and help disciple the person.

I prayed 35 years for my relationship with my son to be restored. God answered that prayer. I prayed for my friend who was dying of a liver virus to be saved from death. To see his unborn baby grow up. To be well enough to go back to work. To give him a life worth living, and God did it. I prayed for help when I got sick, my husband kicked me out of the house. I was sick, homeless, lost my house, my job, my health, faced cancer diagnosis. I cried out to Yeshua. I had successful cancer surgery, hip replacement, and remarried my husband. Now live in a beautiful home and all was restored. When I was younger I was in need of financial help. I sat on my couch said a prayer for help and before I got up and took 3 steps prayer was answered with $6,500. Sometimes prayers are answered quickly, some 35 years. Keep praying, keep asking. I don't understand what that man's going through, but he reminds so much of my father and how he felt the last year of his life, and he was only a year older than this man. My dad, even at 73, had so much potential and he could not see it through his fears and anger. He was so separated from God, and so angry at himself, that every day was just another day waiting for death. I feel for this man, but his anger is feeding itself. The most telling part is how angry he is with people he shouldn't be angry at, like the woman from church. She was just trying to relate and he tore her down and pulled her into his misery. He's so angry at his brother, for things he'll never be able to fix or change. All of his anger is so external. I truly believe that kind of anger is an absence of Christ in most purest form. I hope some of this message will at least resonate with him later so he'll open his heart and let in the love of Christ.

It wasn’t until I could no longer carry the burden of the wrong I had been dealt and the wrong I had committed. We all have a choice, even if we are wronged we have a choice of what we do in the choices we will make. We can make choices that will heap sin upon sin or we can choose to forgive and work through those hurts and pains to obtain healing through Jesus Christ of Nazareth. EVERY PERSON can stop where they are and make the better decision so the remainder of their life can be lived for a purpose not for a dead end. WE have free will and can choose to make decisions in the flesh that will carry in the spirit. I love the homeless, I once was homeless. On the other hand, when we are sinned against, which happens in this world even to little children, if we can find it in our heart to know our Creator is our greatest ally, then we can draw near to Him, and instead of self-pity and bitterness, He will give us sweetness and a purpose and makes us partners with Him. I do agree that also the willpower to persevere and help yourself is absolutely a great key to perseverance, but you also can't deny the FACTS that his days are literally filled with uncertainty, each day as he relies on unstable cirsumstances to live, and even with him helping himself, A community denying his suffering also, obviously keeps in to a certain level of success he can gain for himself.
By helping others, you help yourself and support the environment around you. Though I also can't deny, of course, how much laws and Police have stepped into such matters now that it makes it more frightening to *help someone*.
I think bringing awareness to his situation (and others as well) and using that to generate a platform to garner support would be a fantastic idea. 👍

Totally agree. It's a travesty. We need to pray that the government diverts those dollars to use it for caring for our own generationally born American citizens 🇺🇸 especially the boomer generation who can't afford rent - many are forced to be homeless now because they can't afford a place to live - rental costs are so high. Some are lucky go to work but can only live in their car or truck.
I volunteer at a homeless shelter so i see many walks of life of all ages of good hearted homeless people. I recently spoke to one 80 year old gentleman who was a scientist in his day who traveled to universities giving lectures. He was independent so he only has a small pension and can't afford the rent to live anywhere. I see him sleeping in his car at the local library. It's breaks my heart 💔 ...it breaks God's heart

Most of the homeless people I’ve met admit they are homeless for a reason. They did not follow the Lord’s path in their life and ended up on the street. However, there is assistance for those who truly want to reform their lives. Consider the example of Job in Scripture. Suffering has a purpose in God’s plan. 😊😊😊

Everytime someone asks why God allows them to go through pain and suffering, I bring them to the story of Joseph.
He didn't understand why his brothers betrayed him, he didn't know why he was sold into slavery, he didn't know why he was falsely accused of rape, he didn't know why God kept him in that prison. But it was all God's plan to bring good from evil.
And Joseph's story really resonates with my homeless brother in this video. Because the story also shows us what true forgiveness really looks like. Never once did Joseph tell his father what his brothers did to him. He had forgiven them fully, as if it never happened.
And he needs to forgive his brother, no matter what he did. Because hatred is a heavy burden.

This is a type of rare conversation that you always want. Notice how most the time, each person is respecting the other and letting them speak. Listening to one another. Gods already working in us when we give the time to each other to listen. That's what happens when we stop holding each other, the god in us all, accountable. When we forgive we leave respect and love to open within our lives. Giving rise to repentance, our minds change when we share ideas and experiences. Some people have had so much nasty painful things in their life, that their mind has molded itself into a very dark place. For some of these folk, it is one mighty challenge for them to clear their mind of it and fill it with God.
Good can renew all, so there is always hope for them, but the process may take longer with many bumps in that road.
I pray these guys will not give up, and continue to think about what Nicholas has revealed to them. That they will ponder and come to the revelation that they can either waste away and go to hell by giving into to self pity and self righteousness or can take the step to follow the healing and comforting warmth and light of God, and trust in its journey for them. They will see life through Gods lens if they choose to. Nothing in life beats that.

When you're speaking to these people who are suffering, please remind them of this:
    - We suffer because we live in a fallen world
    - Jesus joined us in our suffering, and took our punishment for us, even though we don't deserve it
    - There is hope. An afterlife of eternal glory in the presence of our creator
    - Even all of the apostles suffered, but Paul said their sufferings aren't worth comparing to the glory that will be revealed
The book of Job is a good reflection of this. Sometimes these people just need to vent, but please do tell them these things too, because they don't understand why they're suffering. I hope you'll see this comment. They need hope.

This guy makes me think of Job. For the past several days, Kent Hovind has been going through the book of Job in his Bible studies. I watch Kent every day, and he has a wonderful way of explaining verses better than anyone I've heard. It may be that this man is being tested, it may be that this man is (or can) serve as a counselor to others like him, who have been through similar suffering, or it may be that he is caught in the crossfire between God and evil. Really bad things can and do happen to good people, and it makes them question God's plan, but it says in the Bible that if we follow HIM, everything works out for the greater good. I am praying for this man, in Jesus' name, AMEN!

As a Social Worker for 32 years but most importantly, as a Born again Christian for 30 years -I'd like to share [imho] that your ''end' summary [at the end of your video] is 100 % DEAN-ON - especially regarding the older man on the far right. He is still full of anger, self pity, chip on his shoulder, poor me, this world / place ''owes me'' attitude etc
Furthermore, we have no idea as to the ''why'' is he homeless ? Did he work all of his life & squander his money ? If was married & had children (they would be ''adults'' now) why do they not have him living with them ? Where are all his 'friends' & why hasn't one of then taken him in ? etc ... Hmmm ?~
Bottom line is this .... I have heard 100's of people during my career speak like this & most times, they ''all'' have told their story (situation) over & over & over again b/c they actually enjoy the attention [playing the victim role] it gets them BUT will [actually] never submit themselves to the Almighty Father & relinquish the control so He could Set Free [as in the man in this video] & have life Abundantly - no matter what that [life] looked liked etc ...
N.B. ... before anyone thinks that ''my life'' before coming to know Christ was great or a cake walk, rest assured, it wasn't : (
but at the end of the day, and after years of Me feeling angry, sad, slighted, ticked off, poor me ''etc'' [hmmm, sounds like the man in this video right ?] ... I finalllllllllly [my fault for taking so long btw] humbled myself / got to the end of myself & truly CRIED OUT FOR HELP to the Almighty & trust me when i say ''he'' The Almighty' answered Me & I have been BLESSED ever since !!! Yes, life is NOT always ''perfect'' but we must always remember that we were ''never'' promised that it would be that way down here BUT I am sooo changed, have total Peace for the Good, & so glad that HE rescued, a Sinner like Me ~ Most Sincerely, Cindy

Many of our illnesses are caused by unforgiveness, bitterness and holding grudges against others.

Those men needed to experience God, to experience the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. I was hoping you would pray for their healing, both physical and emotional. You can’t argue with the manifest power and presence of Jesus!
