Don’t know why but this song always made me feel really sad and nostalgic when I heard it in NMH. Just always made me think of friends who left my school and ones who were going to leave my school next year and friendships and happy memories fading away and stuff Now I’m sad and nostalgic because it was removed from the new ports of NMH due to licensing lol

I've been playing the PC ports and this plays in Area 51 still, unless it's in another section of the game, you can hear it still blaring over the speaker there iirc.

I was really looking forward to this on the switch, I know it's not much of a big deal but when I played this on the Wii, hearing this song would always have me in thought and I'd honestly forget I was shopping, sad to see it go.
I hope NMH1+2 get ported to Steam so I can mod this glorious track back into the game. Did the same for that B'z song from Dragon's Dogma when it got released on PC and never looked back. Copyright expiration sucks.

I was under the impression for the longest time that I heard this song in a ps3 game, like Child of Eden or something, and I just found out it was actually just on the radio in No More Heroes. Digging deeper I did find out though that Mizuguchi created the band so I guess it goes full circle

so i found out something while ripping the music from wii version apparently this has something like remix 3 for each shop(used heavenly star) that starts at different time/part potentially unsused(?) cause i never heard it before but maybe its just me

It wasnt in the Heroes paradise. If you played on the ps3 and 360, you missed out on this gem. It played when you entered the shops. I loved how much of a departure from everything else in the game this song was. Its hard to put into words the feelings evoked when you first hear this in game haha

Unfortunately, the Switch, PC, and Amazon Luna versions of the game lack the song entirely due to licensing issues, although it is possible to mod the song back in the PC version I believe.
There's really no other song 2007 weeb Travis would be listening to than this.
