DIY Fire Plugs are even easier than I thought! This is my first time trying this recipe out and I have to say I'm quite impressed with their performance!
I just made a batch of 800 of these and I used 5lbs of wax, half a tub of Vaseline, and a heavy squirt of lighter fluid. Broken in half I just got 7min 14 seconds out of one plug with a single strike of my ferro rod. I have enough wax to make an easy 8-900 more

Nice video, that’s pretty much how I do it as well and they are compact and convenient. I store mine in an empty prescription bottle in my fire kit.
