Pretty wild Sasuke saw all of Naruto and Shippuden without the filler in one night, while he was on the brink of death with Naruto.
Naruto in 5 minutes before Naruto minutes
This episode is a masterpiece in everyway, the animation and art is TOP quality. The animator who storyboarded and directed it, was Toshiyuki Tsuru the same guy who was the main animator in episode 82 of Shippuden, high-key the best animator to ever worked in the Naruto franchise
Tsuru is not the main animator for 82 but the director of 82. 478 where he was one of main animator 😂. 478 was almost a solo work from him. The only other animator in this episode was Hiroto Tanaka
God tier 🔥❤️
Carsons speech at the end was marvelous, finally someone who understood the core of Naruto.
Right
facts
Naruto is about overcoming hatred. What a message
YES!
@tsu uhhh wut?
Sasuke's "what have I done?" face at 13:04 when he realizes what a mistake it was to isolate himself from everyone is my favorite bit of character acting animation in the show. Just so perfectly conveys his horror, regret, and shame.
Couldn't agree more you describe how he felt perfectly
Y'all also noticed how he doesn't have the rinnegan in that scene? I believe its because they didn't want it making the scene look awkward and so it'll have the impact that you stated
@@idropNukes999 that scene hits me every time, especially because he only makes that face when he sees himself standing across from him with naruto
@@doodoo5594 Yeah, like he's saying to himself: "Can I really be a part of that? After all I've done, can I go back?" Hits me everytime.
Indra said he would never acknowledge Ashura. Sasuke finally acknowledged Naruto.
Sasuke has always acknowledged Naruto's strength. This time he acknowledged Naruto's path to peace.
and so, the cycle end
madara acknowledged hashirama like all the time tho. he was basically his #1 fanboy
@امير مادرا مسند ساسكي الصقر شجابك
@@vva1xx Madara acknowledged Hashirama's path to peace for a long time too....So what? It wasn't new. Madara should have broken the wheel first. The only reason he didn't is plot.
Sasuke betrayed and turned his back on everyone who ever trusted him or teamed up with him, he burned all the bridges, but Naruto is the one friend who won't give up on him, he will always give him a chance because he knows Sasuke is in trouble. And its a common thing, he gives Obito the chance to come back, and even with Nagato. Naruto is the friend we all should ought to be.
I mean I would say only naruto and the village he didn't really betray anyone else since he never had bonds with them. And also when jiraiya died he felt only a little of Sasuke pain.
Sasuke left the village long time ago and wasn't friends with them anymore, probably never considering village organised Uchiha massacre. It has been years.
He made a conscious decision to break the evil cycle of reincarnation and he committed to it having the power. He didn't turn his back on his actual teams from Orochimaru people. He only judged the Kage and other rulers who were to blame for all of it - and he did it rightfully.
Naruto wasn't his friend - he was a creep, constantly stalking Sasuke's every step and literally twisting the law so he could kidnap him back to the village without repercussions to Sasuke.
He has been blinded by the indoctrinated ideals of the hypocrite third Hokage, ultimately dooming the world, his kids and his own life for the sake of keeping the chakra pets alive and to feel righteous. You really shouldn't ever act like Naruto, cause that will only land you to prison.
@@mjm3091 Didn’t he stab Karin with Chidori spear? Stfu
@@Bob-eo6uh which literally doesnt matter, as she can heal most of her own injuries and it was done to kill Danzou.
@@mjm3091 I guess it doesn’t matter that he was about to finish her off with Chidori before Sakura came as well right
Say what you want about the whole Kaguya arc but to me this whole naruto-sasuke fight and the aftermath are pure perfection. Exceptional bow on top of a great series.
When I saw Itachi I almost broke. Sasuke really loves his brother, and needed to hear his words about never abandoning your friends straight fro Itachi, since he was always loyal to Shisui as well.
And thus, the thousand year curse finally breaks. By acknowledging his loss, Sasuke enables the influence of Indra's chakra to lose its hold over him.
Sasuke is indra and Madara and sasuke got emotions and different relationship which gives him different personality compared to his previous reincarnation
@@user-kt1ye7oh1k except their souls are separate, hence why Madara and Hashirama's souls could be called back from the afterlife despite the chakra of Indra and Asura having moved on to Sasuke and Naruto. Naruto even refers to the presence of Asura as like a ghost possessing him, and refers to recognizing that Sasuke also has one "in him." Basically Indra and Asura's will/chakra got reincarnated and attached to different people through the ages. They influenced their hosts (in particular implied to be the cause behind the sudden change in Sasuke's chakra that Karin sensed during the kage summit and that Naruto noticed when he briefly fought Sasuke afterward), but they were separate souls from the people they attached to.
Many people seem to miss the fact that the villages in Naruto are actually not under Democratic rule, they are essentially ruled by a military dictator. So I don't know why people think Naruto's way is a lot more moral when he essentially just preserves the military dictatorship of each villages.
@@haroldcruz8550 except Tobirama outright refers to the village system as a democracy of some sort. In practice we see that the hokage acquiring their position requires the agreement of the feudal lord and a council of jonin. And in any event, the hokage may lead their village, but they are in charge of the nation only when it comes to military matters. If you want to look at how the country is run you need to look to whatever form their feudal lord system gas taken, which we have precious little information on. Not sure what your reply has to do with the topic you replied to either.
And even if it is some kind of dictatorship, in fantasy worlds those systems often work just fine as they manage to select people who won't abuse their power (something that rarely ever happens in the real world).
So why didn't Indra's chakra lose its hold over Madara when he admitted defeat to Hashirama? Then created the village together? Turns out Indra's hold is always there no matter what. Sasuke could still change, you never know for sure.
My favorite part about Sasuke’s change at the end was that it wasn’t just Naruto. Which is why I’ve never understood the Talk No Jutsu argument. That never worked on Sasuke. It was a collective of first his meeting with Itachi, then the Hokages and finally Naruto that brought him back.
By the way, I really love that you acknowledge that Ninshu is a thing. You might be one of the only people I’ve seen react to Naruto that understands the connection between that and all the mental talks and afterlife stuff.
hands down my favorite episode of anything, how they did this whole thing is exactly the sort of thing that hits me in the most perfect way, fun fact I actually despised Sasuke until this episode and specifically when he said "it was the opposite" that point there legit flipped my entire view of Sasuke throughout the story
"Hands down" I see 👀 what you did there 😏
Why did you despise Sasuke?
same its easily my favorite episode. i cried my eyes out, especially with sasuke's perspective and him finally acknowledging naruto
@@rockstar1103 I just didn't like his attitude and the fanboys weren't helping either, but honestly I like his whole arc a lot
@@SomeDudeOG Sasuke was my favorite character when I first started watching Naruto but as you said, the fanboys made it hard for me to keep liking him as much
This episode has always been in my top 3 Naruto episodes. It’s so well done, so emotional and impactful. The scene with Sasuke seeing Naruto has everyone on his side always makes me cry so hard🥺
Carson and Lindsey I have said this before but Naruto’s speech in the episode was Kishimoto own feelings towards his own brother. With that said Naruto feelings in general is Kishimoto own feelings.
I like how Itachi's last tap on the forehead is like a sign for Sasuke to get over himself, and also the fact that they did their unison sign with their blood which basically makes them blood brothers
Love love LOVE this episode. Few moments in this anime explore what makes a character tick as well as this does. (Lookin at you Obito flashbacks… -_-) Plus it’s just satisfyingly wholesome.
''I'm in Hell'' was peak doe
@@anusaukko6792 Oh yeah. I was referring mainly to the repeated flashbacks about Obito and Rin.
The scene where Sasuke was moving his head and closed his eyes before saying "show me" was a really heartfelt scene that was beautiful you can feel every bits of emotion no dialogue needed just the movement and the eyes says it all.
That ending spiel about Talk No Jutsu was refreshing, I swear to god if I see one more Talk No Jutsu meme lmao
Kishimoto gave an interview around the end of the manga where he said he _knows_ the way he presents the resolution to conflicts is naive and idealistic. He just thinks that since he has a young audience, even if it's impossible to actually change the world like Naruto does, if they _try_ to strive for that ideal, that alone will contribute to making the world a better place.
What a long ride it has been. Best "Bromance" in anime. Now onto "The Last".
I love how their blood attaches as of they are holding hands now , becoming friends again 😭
They're blood Brothers now, actually.
Sasuke: Naruto u said the loser has to marry Sakura didnt u mean that right
Naruto: Yup i meant it
Sasuke: Fuck
I believe there's a handful of ninjas that can do jutsus with one hand. Haku was one of the first. I'm sure they can too.
Also minato
@BrTrueV Minato did it aswell
I feel that was brought in too early in the series, we saw Kakashi and Zabuza use a lot of hand signs to use water dragon jutsu and then like 4 episodes later, Haku uses hand signs on one hand
@BrTrueV Itachi can also do it, as well as Sasuke.
@BrTrueV I'm not either, you can watch the show and see that plenty of characters did Ninjutsu with one hand.
I was so moved by Naruto’s well it hurts me line
That’s why he is my favourite anime character
It’s been a great journey rewatching naruto with you guys also this wasn’t just a epic flashy final battle it was a battle of ideologies between naruto and sasuke
Yeah Idealistic Naruto vs Realistic Sasuke
This is Studio Pierrot at its finest. Half the episode is filler and yet it just serves to enhance the canon and none of it feels wasteful. Combined with the gorgeous animation, soundtrack, and direction and it's just art.
I just wish they were always this committed to quality.
8:14 We heard Naruto's side back in part 1. Now we're finally hearing Sasuke's side.
12:54 Zabuza and Haku were there.
13:35 The fight happened on Naruto's birthday, October 10th. So now it's October 11th.
Your discussion about talk no jutsu was great. This is the reason I like the show. It also reminds me of one of the first anime I watch: Rurouni Kenshin. Fights in that show are argument clashings too. If you have not seen it, I highly recommend it. I believe it is also known as Samurai X.
Talk no Jutsu remains unbeatable.
The last victim of the talk no jutsu 🤣👽
Yea last 1 by naruto
No u forgot the shin uchiha kids lol
@@roxasbaker well he didn’t have to talk to them really
And he passed on that OP ability to his son.
Talk no Jutsu remains unbeatable.
This episode literally made me cry
This episode always hits me like that
that unison sign in blood and those tears when Sasuke finally lets go of that false phasade of being tough, I mean every1 knows that is a defense mechanism when the fear of facing the world genuinely because too great and some1 is very lost and tears is the first step to becoming brave instead of tough
I think Naruto of all cried more than any1 in his first 8 years of life so he already went through it at a very young age, but he didn´t sulk, instead he kept striving on and doing his best, which is the reason he is also so strong
I like the idea that there is a way back for even the most lost souls in the world, even some1 like Sasuke :)
I agree with Carson, there is so much soul in Naruto, it is so different to most other shounen where 1 side just has the stronger last punch, the end.
This episode is why sasuke is my fav from team 7 he’s character has so manny layers and he has one of the best character development in the entire show.
Sasuke: How did we lose our arms, we've been clashing with those for years.
Naruto: You just had to add Amaterasu, didn't you.
You are 100% right about talk no jutsu. It's like why are you watching Naruto at all then? That's the whole point of the damn show lol. The fights are about ideologies and Naruto often trying to break through to someone and help them reframe their thoughts. It doesn't happen, or work, all of the time. There are certainly fights where it has no place (like Kakuzu and Hidan for example) but talk no jutsu is what makes Naruto's fights so iconic to me. Naruto vs Gaara, Naruto vs Sasuke (both times), Naruto vs Neji, Kakashi vs Obito, Sasuke vs Itachi, Jiraiya vs Pain, Naruto vs Pain. All of these fights rank as some of the best not because of just the action, but because of the emotions and ideas behind them, the relationships between these characters. So good.
This episode is just a perfect conclusion
Sasuke really gave Naruto -1 arm for his birthday. Best friend ever 😂
1 of my favorite fights was shikamaru vs hidan when he got payback for asuna it was perfect
Nice thoughts at the end Carson, amazing reaction guys, you don't stop improving!
Carson and Lindsey I remember when came out and almost everyone thought the half of episode was CGI. And the director of NARUTO had tweeted out it wasn’t CGI. It just that Toshiyuki Tsuru was too strong
I remember that, i was gonna say something about it because to me it still looks like cgi lol
Btw, you misunderstood Sasuke's intentions, he wanted to reform and protect everything from the shadows, instead of being just an establishment boss, a Batman like figure.
I guess Tobirama was able to influence Lindsay's outlook.
@BrTrueV that’s the only flaw with his plan, that he was doing it alone
Many people seem to miss the fact that the villages in Naruto are actually not under Democratic rule, they are essentially ruled by a military dictator. So I don't know why people think Naruto's way is a lot more moral when he essentially just preserves the military dictatorship of each villages.
@@haroldcruz8550 very good point
@@haroldcruz8550 they aren't tho LoL "Only those who are ever acknowledged by others becomes hokage."
Lindsay and Tobirama are going to be best of friends.
Lmao I laughed out so much after hearing Lindsey say " what a nice ending , with no arms and all ..." 😆😆😆
“Seems we fell asleep the whole night through”
With a missing arm and a haemorrhage?
Untreated for 8 hours?
Man you shouldnt be awake of thats the case
It’s called plot armor
I just realized that Naruto has been fighting non-stop for more than 36 hours. I know Uzumaki's have lots of stamina, but that's taking it too far.
The only flaw with Sasuke's plan was that he was going to do it all by himself. If he had people to help him, it would've worked just like what Lelouch did.
19:10 lmao never stopped the raikage
After 500 + episodes Sasuke finally acknowledges Naruto 😢 this was my favorite moment ever in the show when I saw this lol, Naruto is fun and good felt more fulfilling than Full Metal Alchemist brotherhood. Naruto has more determination than Goku imo he spent years pinning after Sasuke and succeeded in the end. Loved the animation & dialogue
This was the millionth time I saw this episode and I still cried, how did y'all not lol
Little bit of symbolism.
Naruto and Sasuke reconcile in this episode. Madara and Hashirama reconcile before they die and the reanimation is undone.
Naruto and Sasuke forming a unison symbol in blood, on top of the statues of their predecessors broken and also forming the unison symbol, it shows that the brothers, Asura and Indra, may have reconciled through them.
21:05 THANK YOU LoL so many ppl don't understand this concept and it's mainly DBZtards cuz they just wanna see bad guy dead instead of actually using their brain this show is more complicated than a LOT of other shows and that's why it's number 1 for me.
This show is a masterpiece.
"I've Lost" Peak
DAMN its really over it feels weird.
it is episodes left but they are like episodes 6 months after the events
Its great that you guys didn't miss the unison sign.
They both lost their arms and exuasted.
Sakura finally caught up to them👽🤣
Still they are strong
@@niteshmhatre3589 even after what happens to them in boruto, they still stronger than her 😂😂
😂
Yes I also felt pain too
Amazing episode, great reaction, really nice to see you enjoying it as much as I did.
Idk why ?! But every time Carson speak I feel happy and satisfied 😂😃 cuz of the way he pronounce the Japanese names correctly even in haikyuu he's the first reactor ever to pronounce karasuno without any American accent and like a native speaker 🔊it's really refreshing to hear someone who respect the language 🐐 Carson my boy you should definitely try to learn Japanese it's really for you 👌😂
Yeah, but when people overdue it it can get cringey
@@Xeno_Solarus I know right 😂if you cannot say a Japanese name correctly then ATLEAST stick with the American pronouciation or it's gonna be cringe but Carson blew my expectations everytime when he said their name correctly like a Japanese person do!!
Thanks a lot lol
Im always afraid of being that cringey dude whos tryinf to hard (cause i have been that way in the past)
So its great to hear that I'm relatively on target without taking it too far.
I wanted to learn japanese a few years ago and started to learn, but i had to stop when i was at film school cause I didnt have time. I think i'll start learning again at some point
One of the most amazing episodes in the show
Carson: stay tuned for boruto!
also Carson: are they gonna die or survive?
😅😅😅
13:05 The precise moment Sasuke finally loses to Naruto, and chooses to be redeemed.
Notice how Hashirama and Madara's statues hands allso fall on each other to make unison sign.
Carson remember in that episode eat or be eaten panic in the forest Naruto was eaten by a giant snake and his life flash before his eyes and remembering all the people he connected with and when he got to sasuke he was like "some people I'll miss more than others." "I don't know what Sasuke's problem was, the guy was always jealous of me." So Naruto called it way back then
Damn I didn’t relate that to the end of shippuden. That’s awesome
When Naruto is good, it’s legitimately one of the best series of all time
Carson and Lindsay. You guys are awesome and understand the series well. Its why we love it too
I follow you from Brazil, amazing channel, you are amazing.
15:46 Lin's Face it's just poetry😂
This is probably the most beautiful episode of naruto
And now, time for Naruto to hold the world hostage by being stronger than all the Kages by far, and forcing them to the Peace Talks.
Sasuke did what took us years to do... watched og naruto & shippuden in just one night & without fillers 😂
But, this isn't the end.. 479 is the end of this season. And like 21 episodes for the final season, the first 4 are legit filler just showing things that may of taken place in OG naruto, but then there is the exploding man arc which sets the scene for things in Boruto, and then the wedding arc which shows how far Naruto has come in his standing with the villages
We're gonna watch thise 4 filler amd the last next week. Then we'll get to some of the stuff we skipoed before epilogue
Best romance in shonen
Romance they were connected by blood and ur first thing is romance 😬

when i was watching this this seen I was like bro naruto cant died if he died than how boruto is born
I remember when previews of the last came out and I was wondering why Naruto had bandages on his hand and when the chapter came out in the manga that year, I was like wow
Looks like they disarmed each other. Yikes.
Sasuke is in this episode is the definición of tsundere.
love this episode, it was pretty wholesome :)
Only Lindsay's disappointment to Kaguya who can made her cry, she did cry for Madara 😆
Wonderful wrap to an incredible story. Please be sure to react to Naruto: The Last before watching the rest of Naruto Shippuden. It’s really good and some important character development happens. :)
Only my left eye teared up this time
Definitely an improvement:)
U guys should react to koe no katachi after Shippuden. Its a superb movie!
Naruto from genin to hokage: no shortcut to become hokage
何度見ても泣ける…
In my head cannon talk no jutsu is an actual jutsu or genjutsu. Like the izanami.
sasuke made plenty of bonds which sucks that they didnt include them, suigetsu, jugo and karin were prepared to give their life for sasuke in bee fight.
He did acknowledge them as comrades during that fight somewhat. But i think his actions during the 5 kage summit towards them was probably why lol
I think most of us doesn’t hate talk no jutsu it’s just kind of a meme for us
It's both for me.
I think that after de ep 479 you have to watch the film naruto the last and then the rest of the episodes
Officially subbed 👍🏾
9:45 Sasuke true feelings, this show is so coated.
I cried so much when i first saw this
Can you guys make seperate video on reaction to naruto shipuuden openings?
It took an arm for Sasuke to give up and become friends with Naruto.
The stalker won this round (jk)
The classic talk no justu.
Omg almost cried again watching this.
This is also why when ppl say Neji is right they're wrong asf it was literally proven here they broke their blood soaked fate it was meant for one of em to die and continue the cycle but Naruto put fate into his own hands therefore DENYING destiny. Edit: Ppl also use the dumb reincarnation thing to say Naruto didn't work hard when we clearly see he did and that him being a reincarnation didn't amp him in any way, shape, or form.
I can't remember but on the cartoon Naruto some Ninja made a Jutsu hand sign with one hand I just can't remember who it was so yes it is possible
naruto the best anime ever ❤️

Wrong it's not dictatorship it's more like democracy it was even shown that the villagers thought Naruto would be the best candidate after the fight with Pain. It's just like what Naruto and Itachi said "Only those who are ever acknowledged by others becomes hokage."
@@EggMixValid Wrong, yes he's popular but he was never elected by the people. Watch more episodes of Naruto and you'll know what I told you is true.

Wish you would have reacted to the Sage’s backstory filler. Honestly I don’t see how such crucial info is filler. Indra said he would never acknowledge Ashura and Sasuke is now acknowledging Naruto. Only took…
After this episode you should watch movie Naruto Last
i would recommend reacting to rurouni kenshin(wondering samurai/samurai x) its simmilar to naruto but much more realistic and more grounded to reality.
