I refuse to believe that I just searched up "On Comment Section anime", and searched around for 10 minutes only to find that it was literally in the comment section.
I remember this anime. I used to watched this show when I was a teenager and it was my favorite shonen genre anime (along with shoujo if you know what I meant), and I was fascinated with all the biblical reference they have. Now that you've brought up this anime, I'm gonna read the manga of this series. Lol

You made me want to watch it again. ♥ If you haven't seen this series and you like supernatural, magic, battles between angels and demons, you'll love this anime. Keep in mind that "Makai Ouji" is based/inspired on the Bible, so not everything described in this story is 100% faithful to the events narrated in it. Neither the demons are that bad, nor the angels are that good. Give it a chance, I'm sure the story will grab you, especially if you read the manga, which is better developed than the anime. I highly recommend it. ♥

He could have lived his life without any problem if he just chose an interim leader but seems like he likes being the center of attention and craves drama.

The part about not believing in god so divine spell don't work on him that's BS. That one part there is bad writing. Because look when the demons an angel manipulate the terrain an send blast that pass in is his direction did affect him.
